'thank you for today, it was fun.' i said once we reached my house. i gave them an awkward wave and smiled before beginning to walk up my front yard. i stopped suddenly once i realized i hadn't paid them for my drink yet. turning back around, i smiled when i saw they hadn't left yet and were in fact looking at me. i jogged over to them with a sheepish smile. 

'i forgot to pay you back.' i dug my hand in my pocket for my money but jeno gently grabbed my wrist to stop me. i stared at him with a confused look and he rolled his eyes playfully before patting my head.

'you don't have to pay me back jun, you being there was enough.' i felt my cheeks heat up as i nodded, not wanting them to see how i got flustered by a simple action. i turned back around once again but was pulled back. a pair of arms wrapped around me and i felt the person's chest vibrate as they let out a giggle.

'bye junie, sleep well!' jaemin spoke quietly, almost a whisper. i mumbled a quick 'you too' before he let me go and i walked inside as fast as my legs would allow. 

once i got inside i shut the door and leaned against it. why do i get flustered by every little thing they do? my thoughts raced through my mind as i tried to think of any answer. i realized there was really only one answer. i like them.

'are you planning to sleep there?' i jumped as my mother's voice snapped me back to reality. i shook my head and smiled at her, saying goodnight before i headed up to my room where i knew i'd be getting no sleep because of this realization and one new thought;

how could i face them the next day?
