A Message from Mochi

*panic*

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!," Emoji Screaming in Fear said calmly.  

"I... k-know... i-it's s-so excitingggggggg," Loudly Crying Emoji replied cheerfully between tears. 

"Mmm! mmmmMMmMMmMM!" added Zipper Mouth Emoji. 

Emoji Screaming in Fear nodded. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHH! AHHHHHHH!" 

From beside them, another sighed sadly. "Your wisdom always makes me smile," Guilty Emoji told Emoji Screaming in Fear. 

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" the fearful emoji thanked. 

"Why, of course."

A loud yawn resonated throughout the keyboard. All the emojis present turned to see where the noise came from. 

It was none other than a waking Mochi.

"What's all the racket for?" Panda Emoji asked, rubbing its eyes.

They all raised their nonexistent eyebrows (not including Emoji with Raised Eyebrow, who actually has some). 

"Y-y-you really... d-don't k-know?" Loudly Crying Emoji wailed, surprised. 

Panda Emoji blinked. "Uh... should I? I just woke up from my nap—"

The sound of hundreds of emojis cut him off.  

"OMG OMG OMG PANDA EMOIJ DOESN'T KNOWW~!"

"WTH!?" 

"IKRRRRR" 

"smiley omg u hav u heard"

"wut :D"

"mochi forgot about today 😒"

"how :D" 

"idek" 

"MOCHI DOESNT KNOW SMH!!!!!" 

"OMG WHA 😱😱😱" 

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Mochi covered its ears, getting tired with the text-like speech and annoyed with the improper grammar. 

"OKAY CUT IT OUT!" Mochi screamed. 

Instantly, everyone stopped talking. 

"Now," the floating panda head began angrily, "can someone please tell me for the love of Zoey what is going on?" 

"Dude..." 

"Bro..."

"Man..."

It was Astonished Emoji who stepped forwards, a grim look sitting on it's wide-mouthed expression.

"It's Le Panda Day."

"Excuse me, what do you mean its—"

Mochi stopped short, frozen, jaw dropping to the floor. The Panda Emoji's face was ghost white.

"Do you think we broke him?" an emoji whispered after a while.

"AH!?"

Mochi suddenly broke out into a strange grin.

"Stay le panda!" Panda Emoji cried out weakly. "Mochi out!"

Mochi promptly fainted.

Chaos ensued.

"What is it, George?"

"Ah, it's nothing. I'm just trying to use the panda emoji, but it's not working for some reason." 

"Here, let me try." Harold swiped George's phone from his hand, proceeding to furiously tapping the panda icon. 

"See? Told you it wasn't working," George said. Harold sighed, handing the phone back to his friend.

"It's shame, really," Harold said. "The one day of the month when pandas are celebrated, your emoji for it doesn't work."

George nodded. "Oh well! Nothing can ruin today!" 

Harold grinned. "Your right! Nothing can ever ruin Le Panda Day!" 

The two friends smiled at each other, and merrily skipped off into the distance.
