IT WAS 2 MINUTES TO 8 O CLOCK And Aurora had been staring at the clock for the last 10 minutes. With every tick that sounded in the room she would flinch and bite down harder on her nail as the clocks hands waved at her.

Taunting her. Mocking her. Her mind was racing, unsure what to do. Should she stay? Should she go? On one side she did not want Tom to think he intimidated her but then agian she really really didnt want to obey him. But then she didnt particularly want to be dragged from a room.

The sound of a hesitant knock at the door broke Aurora from her trail of thoughts making her jump. "Don't rush me Riddle!" She yelled frantically trying to fix her smudged lipstick in the mirror from biting her nails.

"Its not Riddle" the voice called. Auroras hand stopped in mid air her eyes shooting up to look herself in the eyes. She knew that voice.

The cold yet calming voice. It was like the water at the black lake on a spring morning. She remembered the intelligence that spoke in that voice refreshed her. But she remembered hearing the bone chilling things it spat at its brother.

But it couldnt be. They wouldnt be dumb enough to get themselves involved in this. They would have seen it's wrong and its sick. It couldnt be. It wouldnt be. Would it?

"Come in" she was just about able to croak. Her eyes where glued to her reflection in the mirror as she heard the fumbling of the lock till she could see it slowly start to open, the hallway light spilling into the candle lit room.

Aurora finally gathered the courage to look up from her eyes to see the dark silhouette standing in the door frame. Even from here she could see his long messy curls that she used to beg him to let her platt.

"Reg?" She managed to croak.

"Hello agian Rory" Aurora managed to catch as his voice was so quiet. Her head whipped round and her eyes finally settled on his face.

He looked a mixture of sad and happy to see her, his eyes were sad and nearly disappointed to see her standing infront of him.

A little bit of him hoped he had been wrong and it wasnt the Aurora he knew so long ago. That it was a diffrent girl with the same dark hair and bright eyes and his Aurora was out of the world living a full and happy life. Not here.

Aurora managed to push out some words. "W-what are you doing here? H-how did you get tied up in all this?" She asked and Regulus sighed running his hands through his hair.

"Well, when.. S-Sirius left" he managed to spit out his brothers name. "Let's just say Mother was able to control our house hold a little more efficiently" he muttered causing Auroras face to fall.

"Oh Reg" she sighed running forward and wrapping her arms around his shoulders. Regulus didnt hesitate to embrace her back, he let his head fall to her shoulder holding her close. Tom wasnt the only one that had missed her.

"Out of all the witches of the world he just had to choose you didnt he?" Regulus chuckled but his laugh lacked humor. "I think it's his lifes goal to make everyone else's that bit more difficult" Aurora murmured playing with the tips of Regulus's curls.

Regulus finally let her out of his grip and stood back smiling slightly. "You grew out your fringe" he stated as Auroas had went up to touch her forehead. "It was getting annoying" she said with a small laugh as Regulus nodded.

"You know we have to go downstairs" Regulus mumbled as Auroas gaze fell to the floor. "Do we have to?" She sighed "you know we do" Regulus answered. There was silence for a minute.

"Why dont we just jump out the window, over the fence and away from here Reg? We could go on the run, flee the country we could even go to Norway like you always wanted" Aurora suggested her eyes big and desprate.
