-Time skip to the train station for Christmas break-

"Ye i promise but I'll see you at the ball" I said "I'm gonnna miss you y/i" daphne said "don't forget to write to me too daphne and were not going to the ball were going to France together" millicent said "I'm going to miss you guys" I said "well I see my brothers I'll see you guys soon" I said and made my way to them only to be stopped but the malfoys "hello mr Mrs malfoy it's an honor to see you both again" I said "hello y/n darling wow your so beautiful" Mrs malfoy said "we are glad you are coming to the ball" mr malfoy said "thank you for inviting me I am  beyond honored to come" I said "please write to us very soon y/n narcissa and I will always reply back to you"Lucius said "oh dear do you have a dress yet"narcissa asked "um actually I don't I was going to go to diagon alley next week actually"I siad "please let me take you I'd love to since I don't have a daughter" narcissa pleaded "yes I'd love to thank you" I will come and get on Tuesday next week okay"she said "thank you Mrs malfoy" "no worries" she pulled me into a hug by this stage everyone in my family saw it then Lucius shook my hand and we said goodbye

"Hello everyone" I said "hello what was that about" my mother asked "I'll tell you at dinner let's go"I said on the way back no one acknowledged me being there they didn't even care about my burn. Once we got back to the burrow I went straight up stairs where I stayed until my mother called for dinner

We all sat the table all my brothers were at home this Christmas for some reason "so y/n want to tell us about the malfoys now " Percy pried obviously jelous that lucius had acknowledged me whilst my dad nearly choked when he said the name malfoy "well if you must know I'm going to the Christmas ball on Christmas Eve so I won't be here and narcissa is coming to pick me up on Tuesday to go dress shopping" I said and continued eating while they all looked at me with wide eyes "dress shopping" my mother asked "yes mother dress shopping for the ball" I retorted "you like the malfoys" my father said "yes I do we share the same beliefs and they are kind to me" I said getting annoyed "well then why don't you live with them then it's not like anyone here would miss you"Ron hissed but no one argued I had tears pulling in my eyes at this stage I looked up to see the twins looking at me and I got up and left no one followed me no one argued with Ron they just stayed silent I even heard them laughing once I had left which caused me to cry some more and I fell asleep crying yet again what a way to start Christmas
