Once at the Capital Roland slightly gasped. "They've changed." "Well this is for the quarter quell they will be going all out. Since the victors are the tributes they want it to be very special." Lilac put her hand on my back guiding us to our room.
I'm unable to go to my apartment, they want all the tributes/victors in one place.
Walking in it looks exactly like the suite I was in during my games.
I've stayed in my room all day into the night, mentally preparing myself for the week to come. The next morning Lilac came knocking on my door.
"Cypress! Emerald is here." Emerald walked in with a case of makeup hair products and a bag which I assume has my dress in it.
"Hello my little canvas." She said with a smile. "Hello, you know I'm older than you right?" She kissed both my cheeks and sat me on the stool.
"Yes, but only by a month." "Technically in two weeks we will be the same age. Sorry I'll have to miss it."
"No worries my canvas. Now during the welcoming of your first games you wore white. Now that white is stained with blood." I nodded.
"I want to show that." She handed me a dress. "I'm quite excited, I made it myself." She's been learning how to make clothes for a while now, I'm glad she has it down.
I put on the dress my breath is caught in my throat. The dress is gorgeous don't get me wrong just... I'm tired of when people think of me they think of death.
