There are two types of silence. The first type is calm, where the only thing that can be heard are the leaves rustling from the wind and creatures. The second type, erie, the silence before a storm, where even the animals are quiet as if they were hiding.

Azrail and Aisha started off their morning to a silent day, each to a different type of silence.

Aisha woke up home alone, like most days but she didn't mind. She made her way downstairs, her hair with beads clanking with every step. As always her and Azrail was on the phone with each other, getting ready and eating breakfast, neither saying a word just enjoying eachothers company before the day starts. This was a new routine to the teenagers but they enjoyed it.

After eating breakfast and preparing herself, Aisha bid farewell to Azrail as she makes her way to her ballet practice. She drove in silence, too occupied by the thoughts in her mind to turn on the music.

Azrail woke up before Aisha, watching her sleep as they have fallen asleep on facetime again. As always he was the first to wake up between the two, he took a shower and got ready for school whilst waiting for Aisha to wake up so they could have breakfast together. While waiting Azrail set in silence, opening his notebook of drawings, working on a new masterpiece, a portrait of Aisah.

After having breakfast and saying goodbye to his girlfriend, Azrail makes his way to school. He left earlier than usual because he had received an email from the principal earlier about a meeting. He walked to school in silence, enjoying his surrounding and thinking about his girlfriend.

Aisha had a quiet practice, he couldn't help but feel that their was something wrong. The moment her coach dismissed her, she made her way to the school calling Azrail but no answer. Once she arrived at school, the silence was broken as she walked in it seemed like everyone around her was talking about some sort of commotion but when they say her, radio silent.

Once she reached her locker she saw her best friend pacing around frantically.

"Tessa what's wrong?" Aisha asks, getting worried about everyone's behavior and Azrail not being around her.

"I know we don't talk about him but last month, Blake's father was a victim on a hate crime." Tessa starts slowly, not knowing how to break the news to her best friend.

Aisha stays silent, waiting for Tessa to finish her story. She might not like Blake anymore but her heart hurts at the news of his dad experiencing a hate crime, he does not deserve that, no one does.

"Well Blake's father has been in the hospital for a few days, rumors say that the criminal was after Blake but since Blake's father was driving Blake's car that night, a mistake was made."

Aisha could tell that Tessa was purposefully making the story longer than it needed to be. "Well, the police came here today to question a suspect and when that suspect refuses to give an alibi, he was arrested and taken down the station for questioning."

Aisha close her eyes, already know where this might be going. "Aisha, the suspect was Azrail."

Aisha takes a deep breath, nodding at Tessa and making her way to the only person she knows can fix this mess. Tessa was hot on Aisha's tell, feeling the anger her best friend was having and knowing that she might do something irrational. Everyone in the hallway stopped and whispered to their friends as Aisha got closer to Blake's locker.

Abigail was with him both too engrossed in their own private conversation to see Aisha coming towards them.

"Blake, you know Azrail wouldn't do such thing." Aisha starts, ignoring the looks she was receiving, Blake seem to be a bit taken aback by Aisha's action, they haven't spoke to each other since.
