Two more days were left until the Ball, and Zephyrina was very much excited about it. The horse keepers were taming the horses and wrapping them in expensive jewellery.
The normal people were buzzing through the streets of the kingdom, while the Royals were all excited and gossiping about the grand Ball.
"Princess Zephyrina, you've got a visitor!" said the domestic staff of their palace.
"Is it Charlotte?! Ohh god I can't wait to talk to her about the festival!!!" said Zephyrina with excitement.
Moments later, Princess Charlotte came into Zephyrina's room, dressed all elegantly.
"Zeph, how are your preparations going for the Grand Ball Festival? Is there any scope for you to get a handsome prince to dance with? Or are you going to be a loner, like how you were during middle school graduation prom?" Asked Charlotte, joking.
"Oh no Cherry, the truth is that I have rejected those boys who had asked me to dance with them. Because I was very disgusted then. And oh, I am going to look way more beautiful and elegant than you for sure, Charlotte!" The Princess duo giggled at each other's silliness.
"And by the way, Charlotte, your gown looks very nice!"
"Oh thank you dear, My Father bought this one for me from Japan's most expensive clothes shop. It sure is worth the price for comfort and looks!"
"Cherry, also let's match our gown colours on the Ball."
"Um no, Zephyrina. I prefer being unique. Just like your name. I am not going to tell you what colour I will be wearing on that day. Can we walk outside near the pond?"
"Sure Charlotte!" Zephyrina said, but her words hurt her. She wanted to wear matching dresses with Charlotte.
The duo walked down the stairs as the faint noises of their sandals tapping on the carpeted marble stairs echoed through the halls of the huge palace.
