The Promise

Principal 's Office ?

***Beth***
Alex said "Hey Beth ".
I didn't respond and threw the paper I printed out at him and he caught and said  " What was that for ?" .
I said "You were suppose to come home without anyone so there will be no distractions and you were suppose to do the first exercise ". In a mad way .

"I told you I don't like Writing ".
"You don't have to . You just have to put in effort . Ms . Willson said that you potential if you just put the effort ".
He looked at me and said nothing and I said "What ?" .
"Are you done with your speech now ?".
"Ughhh ". I said in a an angry way .
He said "What are you angry about ?".

I didn't say anything and he came to where I was and said "Tell me ".
I yelled in his face "I ALREADY TOLD YOU ! ".
He said "Clam down ".
"No Alex I won't ".
"Just clam down ". He said again but this time , he was rubbing my arms up and down.

I went to the other side of the room and said "Alex , you were suppose to do  one of these exercises today ".
"We can do that tomorrow ". He said coming to me
"That's the point Alex . YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO DO IT TODAY FOR TOMORROW ".

He pulled me to him and I tried to get out of his grip but he held me tightly .
"Clam down ".
"Alex let go of me ".
"Stop being difficult ".
"I am not ".
"Yes you are  ".
"Let go of me ".

"Your jealous ".
"Alex , this has nothing to do with your relationship ".
"Your eyes say it all ".
I got out of his grip and went to my side of the bed and said "Goodnight ".
I heard him laugh and then I fell asleep .

**The Morning **

I woke up and did my morning stuff and went downstairs and saw Alex cooking breakfast .
"Morning ".
I didn't say anything and I was about to grab my keys when he grabbed them first and then he said " Don't ".

His head was trying to point to somewhere but I didn't know where. 
I still left my hand on the keys just to be sure it wasn't a trick .
Then my parents and his mother came in through the backyard. 

  I let go the keys and said "Morning guys " trying to act normal .
"Hi sweetie ". My mom and Alex 's mom said she said as she hugged me .
"Hi pumpkin ". My dad said kissing my forehead .
"Are you staying for breakfast ".
"Sure ". I said as I had no choice .

When breakfast was over  , I got up and grabbed my keys and my mom saw and said "Sweetie , why don't you let Alex take you to school ".
"Ohh its okay . There wouldn't be enough room since Alex has his g -
Alex cut me off and said "I am taking her to somewhere for lunch so that is what  she means ".

He dragged me out of the house and said "What the hell do you think your doing ?".
"What do you mean what I am doing . I was just telling our parents what were going to do about that car ride thing "

Alex said "I know that but I didn't tell about my girlfriend yet ".
"Why not ?"
"Because they will not approve of her because they are still hung up about the idea of you and me happening ".
He realized what he said and he then said "No , Beth that is not what I meant ".

"That is what you meat because there is no hope for us ".
"He wanted to say something but I cut him off and said "Lets just go to school ".
"Bethy ".
"I said  stop calling me that ".
He didn't listen to me and grabbed my arm because I was walking away .
"Beth , I didn't mean to say that  ".
"Whatever ". I said as I got out of hid grip .

We drove to school and then I got out before Alex could even say a word. 
"Beth" . He said calling my name .
I went over to my locker which was where  Cathy and Ally were .
They came in front of me and said to Alex "You are not allowed to talk to Beth ".

"But its important ".
"No it isn't . He is asking me not to say anything to our parents about his girlfriend ".
"Ohhh hell no ". They said both at the same time. 
Then the microphone system came on and our principal said " Good morning students . I would like to see Beth , Cathy and Ally please . Thank you ".
