The weight of the world upon his shoulders as he ran with tears in his eyes. All he wanted to do was to stop the pain, this misery in his dying heart. His cheeks red, his eyes dominated by red veins as he clenched his fists together and immediately stopped to only fall on the pavement near a building where he brought his knees to his chest and let his emotions take over. Another tear escaped past his eyelids as soon as the memories flashed through his brain once more.
He was too late, too late to save Y/n from the terror and menace that is Zoom. He watched in consternation as Zoom's hand collided with your skin, body then heart, shredding it with pride, with a darkness in eyes, like the one Barry rose his head with. His jaw clenched tightly, his eyes no longer a bright green but electrified by lightning, one in which someone could get lost in, he was lost, lost because his anchor was gone and he would do anything to avenge her, even if it meant accepting the darkness.
