After that day, when Cyril had left suddenly, I hadn't seen him for a while.

I'm not sulking or anything... I'm just a little, tiny bit sad that he seemed to be ignoring or avoiding me. Just a tiny bit.

How else would you feel if your golden retriever, that's always been following you, suddenly gave you the cold shoulder? You would be hurt!!

I'm not exaggerating either!

Even if he didn't visit, we would write letters to each other often! However, recently, I barely get any, and they're usually super-short responses! It's not like I want a five-page essay or anything, but compared to the letters before, they're completely different!

To be honest, I'm fine if he just wants to separate himself from me, since he is at that age and all. However, considering what we talked about before, I'm really worried about his well-being.

Luckily, I heard about the imprisonment of the crown prince's tutor, so I know the plan worked well. However, what if his new teacher is just as bad? What if they're worse? Is that why he's being less responsive and acting strange?!

Ahhh... I swear I'm going to lose years off my life if I keep worrying like this! Am I gonna die young in this life too?!

I sigh to myself but then look into the mirror.

It's fine.

It'll be fine because I know I'll be able to make sure today.

I was dressed up more than usual, in a dark wine purple outfit. My hair was slightly styled, parted, and my left eye wasn't partially covered like usual. I looked like any other pretty boy you could find. The kind that I wanted to punch and curb stomp in my past life. (Author's note: might draw this, who knows. But I'll put it on Virgil's character page when I do)

If I actually had functional face muscles, I would've definitely have had a smug smile at my own luck in this life. I may hate all ikemen, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate being one myself.

Today is actually the Munondoa Festival, which also means it's the day of Violet's debut! Well, it's the social debut of many children, but there are really only two people I'm paying attention to!

One of which is of course Violet, who is my pride and joy as my first, best, and only student. The other of course was Cyril, who I had also given advice to! Luckily for me, he'll be there too, so I can also check up on how he's feeling!

Luck is truly on my side in this life!

After the servants were finished with dressing me up, I was brought outside to the carriage we were going to take to the banquet. Violet followed behind me and I waited for her beside the carriage.

She was also dressed up more than usual, as she had to make the best first impression. Her hair was put up in a half up half down style, with a lot of braids that I don't understand where they come from, honestly. Her black curls near the end of her smooth and silky hair looked more bouncy than usual, and her bangs were also parted, to give her a more mature feeling. Some light makeup was put on her, but not much as it would just seem overdone and ruin her natural beauty. However, they were like nice accents that made her beauty stand out more. I have to give props to her maids!

Of course, I had a hand in picking out an outfit for her. Although they were sort of villainess colors, red, purple, and black really do suit her, as it matched with her hair and eyes. The purple dress with black lace accents worked well together as they were more dark colors and the ruby red accents did well to contrast with the rest of the outfit.

Even if I didn't want Violet to look like a villainess like in the original game, there wasn't much I could do. She had a natural villainess-like face, with sharp eyes and a devilish natural smile. She even had a villainess color scheme for god's sake! I can't just dress her up in a pink and white frilly dress like she's the heroine or some shit!
