"Where you going" i asked raising up.

"I gotta handle sum business" saint said.

I watched him as he picked the gun up off the dresser and put it in his pants.

"You ever gonna stop" i asked.

"Armani dont start this shit bro" saint said.

"What if you get hurt saint" i said.

"Im not going to" saint said.

"What about me what about whenever we have kids you gonna still be doing this" i said.

"What else im supposed to do to support us saint said.

"I want you to get a job saint a real one" i yelled.

"Fuck you want me to do get a job at burger king assum mani" saint said.

"Im a dealer bro thats all i know" he also said.

"Whatever saint... if you wanna go out and get yourself killed then thats you" i said.

-Flashback over-

I was in the kitchen washing dishes until i heard my phone ring.

I dried my hands off and seen it was destiny calling.

"Hello" i said answering the phone.

"Mani d- dee in jail" destiny said crying over the phone.

"Des stop crying what happened" i said.

"He killed saint mani i dont know what to do" kayla yelled over the phone.

I froze and dropped the phone.

I knew 1 day i was gonna get this phone call.

But didn't think it was gonna be so soon.

I ran upstairs and put my black crocs on and grabbed my purse.

I grabbed the phone.

I ran out the door and got inna car.

Tears were flowing down my face.

I couldn't believe this was happening everything felt like a dream.

I drove to the hospital and parked onna street.

I sat inna car for a minute to try and get myself together.

I got out and walked into the waiting lobby.

I walked up to the reception desk.

"Is sai- i mean khai is khai thompson checked in here" i asked.

"Yes he jus-" the lady said before getting cut off.

"Mani" i heard a familiar voice say.

I turned around and it was lani.
