The Engagement

"Ju Min doesn't looks pleased with the lunch at all. Do you think he would be okay?" You ask Jae Hee showing your concern. Jae Hee open her mouth to make an answer but before any word come out, her phone is ringing. It is Chairman Han.

"I don't have a good feeling for this" Jae Hee show her phone screen towards you and answer the phone call politely. Her expression is not really good, she is troubled. After finish the phone call she breath heavely.

"Currently Mr Han just leaving in the middle of the lunch" she makes a brief resume of the conversation. You ask her what happened but she also doesn't understand why Ju Min left so suddenly.

You rushly check your phone, want to know if Ju Min is online in the RFA chat room or not. And he is currently there. You tell Jae Hee that Ju Min is online, and she quickly enter the chat room.

"Ju Min.... You are here" you greet him and call his name directly without using honorific. You are use to call his name directly when interacting with him outside the worktime since you join RFA.

"I'm not really pleased right now.... How could my father try to use me to please his girlfriend?" Ju Min express his feeling through the text. Jae Hee asks him what is happened and tell him that the chairman just call her.

Ju Min tell the whole story of his lunch. Just as predicted, chairman Han introduce his new girlfriend, Glam Choi an actress. Chairman Han inform him that he will marry her. He just get officially divorced some months ago and yet he is going to marry another woman right away.

Ju Min is worry that it would give a bad impact for their company. He has been working so hard to maintain the increasing of their marketing. But he has to get ready to face its crumbling. They have a lot of conservative clients and he know that they wouldn't be pleased with the news about the chairman.

Jae Hee get a notification that there is already an article about the chairman marriage in the internet now. The main picture of the article is an event of the lunch today. The news come out really fast.

"That's not all.... My father also wants me to engange with Glam student."This news is really shocking every member. Engangement. You can't believe this. Just a day ago he asks you about wheter he has a feeling towards you or not and today he tell you that he is going to enganged with someone else. You know that it is not his real intention. But you still don't know how to feel about this sudden news.

Ju Min tell you that he always respect his father for his view of business, he is a role model as business man for him. No matter how many woman he introduced as girl friend he never criticize his father. Even though Ju Min can't understand why his father always need a woman to accompany him, he just accept his father the way he is.

When it related to woman, his father opinion often clouded by his love. But this time his father is overrated. He even sacrifice his own son and the company for the woman he loves. He has been blinded.

"Is it wrong for me if I feel upset with my father?" He asks you. You tell him that it is normal for him to be upset. Whoever in his position will feel the same way. You hope you can cheer him up but not really sure of what to do.

At that time you received an email notification. It is Ryan M. He asks you the detail about the project. He is really friendly and easy to talk. He makes you comfortable in the conversation. In the end he agree to take the project and work together with CNR. Once he reach Korea, he will go to the company right away.

You really happy to hear that. You think Ju Min would be happy too. So you wait for him to come back to the office and want to tell him the good news. Once you see Ju Min enter the office , you stand up and approach him. He looks so stressed.

"Ju Min.... " you call him softly. He smile weakly to you.

" I have a good news. Ryan M agrees to work with us. He will come here within a week." You inform him, expecting that he would feel better.

He praise you and tell that you do a good job. You smile brightly, feel a true happiness from his words and in this brief moment you can see that his spirit is comes back. You can feel something else in his eyes when he is staring into your. A gaze that give you a comfort. A gaze that you always see in a certain guy in your memory. He reminds you of the way Ryu Min looks at you.
