-"Some people are artists. Some, themselves, are art."-

2 months later.

2 months had passed since the death of Ryan. They had been together for 6 months and this was the last night they would be together. It was time for Luca, Matteo, and Antonio to go back to Italy. Ida and Matteo were a couple and so were Antonio and Starr even though they had a rocky start just like Luca and Midnight.

So far Luca and Midnight kept their status on the down-low in case other gangs, cartels, or mafia's would take that as a bigger chance to exterminate one of them. But the ones closest to them knew of their status.

There would be a gala tonight to celebrate the two mafia's long-awaited partnership. Since the two most powerful and largest mafia's were making alliances, everyone would be there.

Luca's family, other mafia's, gangs, cartels, and other important people. Tonight would be the night they signed the contract to please both mafias.

The deal had gone accordingly. They had been on each other's missions and they were all successful with their new ties.

The plans that Luca had at the start of these 6 months were now long forgotten and terminated, knowing that there was no way he would do anything to hurt his Diavola.

Over the last two months, they had interrogated everyone who worked for the King. Everyone. Almost a million people. All interrogated and searched with Starr's team of hackers and Midnight's ties around the globe. And out of those million, three thousand had been caught. But they were close -so very close in finding out who this man was.

Those three thousand that had been caught had all the same information. The man contacted them and promised them money beyond their imagination. However, this man never told his name and had a voice scrambler. No one had ever seen him or bothered to ask for a contract.

But they could feel that this would be over soon. The man hadn't attacked since the raid at the base that left Midnight re-branded. Maybe he got scared and backed off? But they knew that wasn't a possibility.

If anything were to happen -if this man was planning something big- tonight was the night to do it. That's why the gala tonight was on high guard.

Midnight and Luca secretly dreaded this day, knowing they would have to say goodbye.

They both had a hard time opening up at first, especially Midnight, but they pushed through it. Luca had never gotten this close to anyone before, and neither did she. This was their first real relationship. But ever since she learned about what happened 10 years ago, she didn't feel so alone.

He was convinced that he was going to spend the rest of his life with her.

She would be lying if this wasn't the most happiness she had felt in her whole life and he felt the same way. They fit together like missing puzzle pieces.

Their connection was beyond just caring about each other. It was just love in its truest form. It was unbelievable how they could move so fast but it felt right.

He had even told his parents about her and they were ecstatic. Elena was so excited to meet her that she convinced Alec to fly in early. They were proud of Luca for finally letting him be happy after Leia's death.

And he was going to show her just how happy he was.

"Hey," she greeted as Luca opened the door. He ushered her in fast and sat her down on the couch after giving her a quick peck on the lips.
