Ch59 - End

“Why is there such an unpleasant thing as homework in this world?”

There was the festival in the holidays. Ning An had also been dragged out on a few family trips, though their parents would leave halfway through the fun and go to other places because of their different jobs. It was only when Ning An came back home that he remembered the vacation homework that had been lying in his inbox the entire time.

“Have you finished? Let me copy it.” Ever since he ran into Xu Yu Sheng who had also come to the library to speed through his homework, the two of them temporarily formed an alliance to face the homework together. Each person would do a portion and then swap to copy the answer, putting in half the work to get twice the effect.

“You write so fast. Wait for me, I still have this question.” Xu Yu Sheng shook his sore hand. “I really don’t understand. We do all our theory exams online, but why do we still need to write our homework by hand?”

“Our instructor said that this is to train us. I think that he’s just finding another way to bother me.” As expected, Qin Zhao had assigned Ning An with extra work. He could only gnash his teeth and bury himself in the pile of books.

“Sigh, who would have thought that the two of us, the top two in the grade, would actually copy each other’s homework before school starts?” Xu Yu Sheng leaned back in his chair and collapsed. “I can’t do this anymore. I’m taking a break.”

“Did you have too much fun during the festival?” Ning An continued to write at an immense speed, wishing that his hand could move so fast it would create afterimages. “I’m surprised that you actually didn’t do your homework. Don’t you always prepare for the courses in advance?”

“I was resting at home due to health reasons.” The doctor said that it was a slight pheromone disorder and resistance to the inhibitors. Xu Yu Sheng concealed this information from his family and followed the doctor’s advice to nurture his body for the entire vacation in order to avoid a sudden outburst of symptoms during the new semester. It was only when school was about to start again that he remembered his homework.

“Oh.” Ning An didn’t ask too much. There would always be inconveniences for an Omega who’s pretending to be a Beta. There were probably also side effects from the medication. “Then are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” Xu Yu Sheng massaged his wrist and pulled his sleeve to cover up the needle marks from his treatments. He them returned to fighting in the battlefield with his homework. “You still didn’t pull me down last semester. Do you want to continue this year? How about we up the ante?”

“We’ll be separated into different faculties when school starts. It’s not like I’m going to the mecha faculty.” Ning An also stopped writing. “But frankly speaking, I haven’t thought about it yet.”

Although Qin Zhao had reminded him before the holidays, he had forgotten about it because he was focused on dealing with the field training. Even if he asked his family for their opinion, Ning An felt that Elina would definitely say that everything was up to his own decision.

“Your instructor should be hoping that you go into the political faculty.” Xu Yu Sheng had previously glanced at the topic of the extra work Qin Zhao had assigned to Ning An. He felt that it was very complicated. “The enrolment for the Commander Training Institute has already closed. You can’t go there either.”

“I myself still want to quit school and go back to inherit the family business.” Ning An continued to write at a tremendous speed. “Honestly, I think that staying in an ordinary faculty is also fine. I can go home and inherit the family business after I graduate. Perfect.”
