🌻Sunflower Awards🌻
Our highly anticipated Sunflower Awards are our (now) annual genre-based awards. Here's how they work:
- Every year (probably in the summer though can't guarantee), at least two or three admins will start our next Sunflower Awards
- After reading and following the rules, you will fill out the form for the genre your book is in
- Judging begins when the genres close-at the end of the deadline or upon 15 entries-and when a judge is done, we post the results for the top three contestants
- Everyone else is PMed their results after the top three are published
- We distribute prizes when the awards are over
This process is very generalized because it can change from year to year, so we recommend checking out the most recent awards, which you can find on our profile, for more info on our deadlines and judging rubrics.
If you're interested in becoming an admin for the awards, we will let you know if we're looking for one on our message board! Please don't fill out the form in our bio, as that doesn't always apply to awards admins. The awards don't last the entire year, so we generally try to find admins who are already admins before outsiders, hence the "if" in the first sentence of this paragraph.
