Hiiii! While I was deleting old files etc. on my laptop today, I stumbled across a folder containing lots of pictures I had saved for this book.
Some of them I wanted to include in the chapters, some were just for me. Anyway, I figured I could share some of them ^-^ Btw, if my pictures look different from how you envisioned any of the characters, that's okay! I made the conscious decision not to include any pictures like "this is what xyz looks like" in the chapters because I wanted you to have that kind of freedom and be able to use your imagination. This is just what my imagination came up with.
First, I drew Ellie and Quinn on my iPad a looong while ago (even before I had the idea for this book):

On the left (with brown hair) is Ellie and on the right (blonde) is Quinn. I made these drawing just because I wanted to draw some pretty girls and somehow they bloomed into characters/OC's... I'm aware the drawings aren't perfect, I had to draw with my finger because I don't have an Apple Pencil xD
I also made mood-boards for both of them that are not 100% accurate anymore but whatever

Yes, they were named Romy and Juliette at first (like Romeo and Juliette) and were supposed to be OCs for a completely different book but then I changed everything xD
Ellie's mood-board is the green one and I'd mainly change the clothing style for her... the sweater and jeans are okay but I feel like she wouldn't wear the purple skirt. Color-wise I'd go with more warm colors for Ellie than I did for Romy but her interests etc fit pretty well. Quinn's mood-board is the pink one - Pasta does (did) NOT look as pretty as the fluffy white dog btw. Except for that, I think hers is pretty spot on!

You can ignore most of the names, I came up with brief descriptions of the inhabitants of every house in case I used them in the story xD
The important bits is the house Quinn lives in (top right house) and maybe some things like the café (C), the chairlift (L), the bookshop (B) or the restaurant (R). Also, the dark grey spots mark how high the ground is; the darker the grey the higher the hill/mountain.

I took the first photo from familyhomeplans.com (my go-to page when I need inspiration for houses, layouts etc) and then modified the rooms. The layout was made by me (ignore the blue tint, it's where the roof slopes down).
I don't really know what the point of this chapter was but maybe you liked scrolling and seeing all these things I worked with... Idk, I always like to see those things (I also LOVE maps in fantasy books, hehe)
