chapter 20: my blessing

*Lorenzo's Pov*

2 months have passed, and Jade is 3 months pregnant, and my daughter Aria is living with her boyfriend Jack he is working at my office, and he bought himself an apartment and not shortly after Aria decided to move in with him and I'm so happy for my little girl she is happy and that's all that matters to me. Right now, I'm at a point of life where I'm so happy because my daughter is happy, and I couldn't be happier with Jade that's why tonight I want to take her where we had our first date and ask her to marry me but first, I want to ask Aria if she's okay with it because I don't want her to feel left out of a big decision like this. 

*Lorenzo text Aria*

Lorenzo: Hi good morning princess are you free right now?

Aria: Hi good Moring dad Yea I'm free why

Lorenzo: I wanted to talk to you and wanted you to come over for breakfast

Aria: yes, I'm down for that I'll see you in 20 minuets dad love you 

Lorenzo: okay princess see you later I love you too 

*20 minuets pass by and Aria arrives and goes inside the house*

Aria: I'm here dad

Lorenzo: Oh, hi princess I'm so happy to see you 

Aria: so how have you been dad?

Lorenzo: I've been very happy actually

Aria: I'm so glad to hear that dad 

Lorenzo: what about you princess?

Aria: I'm the happiest I've been Jack is doing well with the job and he makes me so happy 

Lorenzo: I'm glad he treats you the way you're supposed to be treated princess 

Aria: thank you dad but what is it you wanted to talk about?

Lorenzo: oh, yea well this is something very big it's a big step and I want to ask you because I want to know if you're okay with it\

Aria: what is it?

Lorenzo: I want to ask Jade if she wants to marry me...

Aria: omg...dad that is a big step

Lorenzo: if you aren't okay with it tell me please

Aria: dad I'm totally okay with it she makes you happy and she's my best friend, so this is exciting !

Lorenzo: are you sure your okay with it?

Aria: 100% sure dad now you go ask her and I know you won't need my help with that because you are a very romantic man 

Lorenzo: I guess you can say I'm a hopeless romantic, but I plan on taking her to the place where we had our first date

Aria: now that's cute that's a good idea props to you dad you have this all planned out I'm happy for both of you! 

Lorenzo: thank you princes It means a lot 

Aria: dad...

Lorenzo: yes?

Aria: you and Jade have my blessing I couldn't be happier for you guys 

*Lorenzo gets up and hugs Aria*

Lorenzo: thank you for your words my little girl it means so much coming from you

Aria: I love you so much dad.
