The next day, Nezu called a staff meeting. "So, what has the lead villain said?"
Toshinori, the one in closest contact with the police, elaborated for them all. "The villains said the usual things. Hatred for heroes. Blaming them for their circumstances. But the leader... he has been silent. So has his puppet. We've placed the 'Nomu' in a soundproof room. It has not acted since."

Nezu summarized the good parts of the terrible event, "Good. So this... League of Villains has been taken care of?"
Toshinori, despite his internal reservations, proudly proclaimed: "Indeed!"

"Good. What about the... unusual boy?"

"That is... honestly, a tricky conundrum." He sighed, "I worked on the case when it was nothing more than a missing person's case. He was quirkless, so many gave up on him as just another statistic. Then he just... reappears here. After speaking with him two days ago, much of what he said does not follow with our understanding of reality, but my friend, Detective Tsukauchi, with a lie detector quirk, confirmed it all to be true. I think... it might be best for everyone to hear what he has to say. I do understand this, however: He was a victim of something far stronger than himself..." He looked down, "He was able to outsmart and fight it off once... and barely escape. He was already running on fumes when he arrived at the USJ. He had to leave others behind."

Nemuri, the modern art history teacher, asked, with barely a whisper, "leave others behind? He wasn't alone?"
Toshinori confirmed this. "Unfortunately, yes. He did show some signs of survivor's guilt."

Nezu then interjected. "I would like to invite him here... when it is convenient for him."

"I can reach out to Inko Midoriya to check. I don't think he'll be busy as he recovers from his... experience." Toshinori frowned, "are you going to offer him a position in the heroics course?"
Nezu explained his logic, even if it did screw over potential candidates in the other courses. "After the expulsion of a student... it would be reasonable to fill the position with someone who can fight villains right now, someone with a heroic spirit and the ability to act on it, to fill that role."

They turned to Aizawa. It was his class, and he would be the ultimate judge. "Yagi has a lot of faith in this kid. I would like to meet him before allowing him into class. After all, there's nothing crueler than letting a dream go on if it's impossible for them to achieve it."

Izuku woke up in his room, tucked into his Allmight themed bedspread. However, when he was going to move, he found that he was stuck, his right arm underneath a weight. Turning, he found a mass of long black hair.

He whispered, almost as if he didn't want to wake her up, but also wanting to ask her what was going on, "S... Sadako?"

"Mmm..." She didn't want to move.

The cute noise from the undead girl in combination to her proximity made the greenette blush. This is too much!

So... he asked again, still gently, because he didn't want to be rude... especially with her, "Sadako?"
Her head looked up at him. Carefully, he parted her hair to see her face. Her eyes looked into his own as he asked. "Um... why are you in my bed... with me?"

The first part of her explanation was... logical. "Because you fainted and I wanted to. Inko said it was alright..."

He looked into her eyes, and she continued, "...and because I do love you."

"W-well... I was just surprised, is all... it's not every day when a beautiful Onryo just confesses about loving you..." He looked away, unable to look her in the face while saying that, his face red with embarrassment.

"You showed me emotions other than hatred, Izuku. I want to be with you..."
The words he asked seemed alien to him, considering what he was like before... it just seemed far more unbelievable than anything else he'd seen in the ten months he was gone, "In an actual relationship?"
"Yes."
