Chapter 7: A Night To Remember

After Peter and Seviathan had their brawl, the principal called in Seviathan's father, Charlie's mother and Peter's uncle. The three parents saw the CCTV footage of Seviathan cheating on Charlie with Peter's date Octavia, Charlie and Peter sharing a kiss, Seviathan punching Peter and of course they also see Peter kicking Seviathan's ass, after that Seviathan apologised to Peter for punching him and bullying him for all those years and he also apologises to Charlie for cheating on her so many times. 

After Seviathan apologised to the both of them his father took Seviathan to the hospital, Seviathan's dad was angry but not at Peter as he believes that Peter was in the right to stand up for himself, Peter's uncle however did not, Peter and Uncle Ben are seen leaving the school entrance as they walk towards Uncle Ben's car 

Uncle Ben: Get in the car...

Peter does as Uncle Ben asks of him and enters the passenger seat in the front of the car, the drive back home was awkward as Peter nor Uncle Ben spoke to each other, once they reach the house they immediately exit out of the car and start walking to the front door of the house

Uncle Ben: Get inside the house...

Peter: Uncle Ben, I didn't mean to-

Uncle Ben interrupts Peter

Uncle Ben: Get inside! 

Peter and Uncle Ben enter the house and see Aunt May standing in front of the TV in the living room watching the two boys enter, Peter looks at Aunt May

Peter: Aunt may, I'm so sorry-

Aunt May interrupts Peter

Aunt May: You did nothing wrong sweetheart

Uncle Ben: Yes. He. Did.

Uncle Ben closes the front door and walks towards Peter, he looks at him in anger 

Uncle Ben: Just what were you thinking? 

Peter looks down at the floor and shakes his head, he speaks in a very low pitched voice

Peter: I don't know...

Uncle Ben: What was that? 

Peter slightly raises his voice

Peter: I-I-I don't know...

Uncle Ben: You sent a demon of royalty to the hospital, do you have any idea what you could have brought on yourself?

Peter: No...

Uncle Ben: You could have been arrested- killed even! You are so damn lucky that the boy's father thought you were in the right, if he didn't then you understand it would have been game over? 

Peter stays silent and nods, Aunt May has had enough

Aunt May: Ben please, the principal explained everything on the phone, Seviathan gave him worse beatings befo-

Uncle Ben looks at Aunt May and interrupts her 

Uncle Ben: Do not defend him 

Aunt May: And what would you have had him do? Let Seviathan kick the crap out of-

Uncle Ben interrupts Aunt May again 

Uncle Ben: Do not defend him! 

Uncle Ben looks back at Peter

Uncle Ben: Can I tell ya something kid? 

Peter: Yeah, go ahead...

Uncle Ben: You're a lot like your father Peter, you really are... but your father was also given a great power, and with great power, comes great responsibility, those were your fathers words not mine. You had the power of kicking that young boy's ass which you clearly did, but you forgot the responsibility of holding back and being the better person, now I'm not saying he didn't deserve a wack or two he clearly did, but you went too far and sent him to the hospital. So the next time you have a responsibility like that, make sure to remember your father words and be responsible! Your mother and father would be ashamed of you if they were here!
