Two weeks after Peter became Spider-Man Doctor Kasady is currently in his lab working on an experiment, he is seen walking towards the symbiotes with a small chemistry tube in his left hand. He opens up the container that imprisons the black symbiote, puts a small part of the ooze in the flask and closes the container, he walks towards a table with a spider in a glass tank. He puts the tube on a tube grip stand and grabs the needle, he opens the tank and stabs the needle into the spider draining its very dark red blood from it. He takes the needle out of the spider and closes the tank leaving the spider very weak as most of its blood was drained by Kasady, He grabs the tube that a piece of the black symbiote rests and opens it, he takes the needle, stabs the symbiote with the needle and transfers the blood from the spider to the symbiote.
Doctor Kasady takes out the needle, closes the tube and watches the symbiote closely. The symbiote starts to mutate and change within a matter of seconds, Kasady watches as the symbiote turns from black to red, Kasady shocked and surprised by the change screams silently in joy
Cletus: Yes! God bless you, Richard!
As Doctor Kasady celebrates his little victory, an angelic man in a suit and a pale demonic man with a white suit and large red dots on both of his cheeks walk towards Kasady surprising him. Two guards follow behind them
Demonic Man: So, this is the room where you play with the symbiotes?
Angelic Man: Please your highness, give us more time! We've almost cracked their biological code!
The king looks at the Angelic man in disappointment
King James: You had twenty years Norman! Twenty years to figure out the code and you failed! I'm sorry but I will not waste precious taxpayer money on your little science experiment that you have now proved to be worthy of an F! You told me every time that you were close to the biological code, for twenty years you lied while you haven't even come close to craking it!
Norman (Played by Willem Dafoe): Please sir, give us another month, we're almost ready!
King James: I've made my decision, now leave me alone!
Norman walks away from the king and heads towards Doctor Kasady
Cletus: What's going on here?
Norman: The king is shutting our operation down saying he "won't waste precious taxpayer money on a science project worthy of an F"! Like he hasn't wasted the money for his own precious needs
Cletus: Norman, I've almost cracked it, It's all in this tube!
He shows Norman the tube in his hand, Norman sees the red symbiote and is shocked that Doctor Kasady was able to change the color of it
Norman: How did yo-
Kasady interrupts Norman
Cletus: I'll tell you later, but now I need to analyse it and see what's changed!
Before Norman could respond, the king snatched the tube from Kasady's hands and looks at the tube analysing the red symbiote
King James: What's this?
Cletus: Your highness, that is what the taxpayer's money is funding, it is highly delicate and not to mention highly dangerous, now please give it back
The king smirks as he continues to analyse the symbiote, he laughs as Cletus and Norman look at him confused to why the king is laughing
King James: Twenty years and billions of dollars funding put into this and all you could do was change its color?
Cletus: Your highness, the symbiote-
