Jaenys was finally happy to be home. She spent 1 year in Pentos handling business for Daemon. Daemon had taken the young dragon under his wing. He taught her proper high Valyrian, fighting and his war tactics. Daemon was her step father but the two were closer than all the other siblings.
As she climbed down from her dragon, Tyrax whom was now almost the size of vhagar, she was greeted by her 3 brothers.
"Jaenys!!" Joffery cried out as she grabbed him into a bear hug. Jace and Luke hugged their sister welcoming her home.
"How was your travels?" Jace asked.
"Fantastic I visited all of the seven kingdoms before going to Pentos."
"Happened to see your long lost love by any chance?" Jace teased.
Jaenys replied by stepping on his toes.
The truth is, she had seen Aemond once. She was tasked with carrying a special letter to kings landing, there she and Aemond briefly locked eyes before mounting her dragon again.
He was taller, his hair was longer and he wore an eye patch.

Rhaenyra hugged her first born child for the first time in a long time. " I've missed you."
" I've missed you too mother."
They started at each other smiling as Jaenys pressed her hand gently on he mother's swollen belly.
Just then Justane Royde Jaenys ' sworn protector entered the room. Justane became a close friend to her on her travels and had a genuine friendship.

"Now that's you're all here we've been invited to kings landing for prince Aegon and Princess Helaenas wedding," Rhaenyra announced.
They all groaned and complained but their mother shut them down.
"We depart on the morrow the wedding is in 2 days time."
Jaenys walked back to her chambers thinking if Aemond was hoping to see her. She could not sleep and thought of him all night.
