I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me. yes I showered again.
chandler got in before I did so now im going to occupy the bathroom.
I put on shorts and a tank top for now.
I dried my hair and begin curling it.
chandler walked in and squeezed behind me. "please dont burn me" he smiled.
I stepped out of his way as he looked in the mirror he brushed his teeth as I finished my hair.
I go find something to wear.
"what do I wear" I ask "I dont know" he laughs. then my phone dings "can you see who that is?" I ask. he grabs my phone "um its your mom she said change of plans were going to go out to a restaurant" "text her back and say sounds good" I say and pull out a dress from my bag.
"she sent the address of the restaurant." "ok whats it looking like?" I laugh stepping into the bathroom "like we cant afford to even step inside" "so this is perfect then" I say stepping out of the bathroom in a black tight classy dress. chandlers eyes widen. "I-" he was lost at words.
"if its that ball ill change" I say walking back into the bathroom.
"no you look perfect" he says jumping up wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me back to him. "does this mean I have to wear a tux?" he ask. "I think so pretty boy" I smile as I come out of his grip. he goes into the bathroom and changes. I pull my heels on. and stand up looking at myself in the mirror.
I didnt realize it but in the corner of the mirror you could see chandler looking at me . leaning against the bathroom doorframe. he was taking me in and smiled "you got a little bit of drool" I say turning towards him "oh do I now?" he laughs smirking at me.
I walk over and fix his collar and then he pulled his shoes on. "you look good" I smile at him "not as good as you do darling" he whispers almost.
I got chills down my spine.
we walked out of the hotel room and got into the elevator.
we headed out to a uber we got and headed to the restaurant.

we stepped out at this beautiful place with big stairs leading to the door.
chandler held the door for me as we walked in.
"can I help you?" the lady ask rudely looking at us.
behind us stepped my mom with mr'oconner and 2 boys and a little baby girl in a carrier.
"she's with us" my mom announced. the lady at the desk fixed her face immediately.
we walked to a table. I grabbed chandlers hand.
"and I better not find out you talk to anyone else like that" mr. o'conner says to her. "yes sir" the lady says.
we get to our table and I sit down next to chandler. the 2 boys sit in front of us. mr o'conner sits on the end and my mom sits on the opposite end They put the carrier in a thing beside my mom
"Thank you for joining us tonight y/n" my mom smiled "and who is this young man with you?" Mr. O'Conner asked nicely "This is my friend Chandler" I introduced to them and he smiled "he came here to stay with me and we're heading back tomorrow after we film a video" I say The boys in front of us were probably 12 and 10 they started whispering and giggling "Boys what are you 2 giggling about?" My mom asked "there from mr beast" the smaller one says "who?" Mr o'Conner ask "you remember jimmy right? My best friend yea he's a YouTuber now and that's how I met chandler actually" I say "oh yes I always loved jimmy such a sweet boy." My mom says We all looked at our menus "oh my this is all so expensive" I whisper to chandler He looks at me "yea I don't even know what half of this is do they got chicken fingers and fries" he laughs
After ordering what we wanted we begin to talk
"I just want to thank you again mr. O'Conner" I say "oh please call me Daniel and I'm glad to finally meet Courtney's beautiful daughter she talks about" he smiles gesturing to my mom
If she talks about me so much why didn't she try to contact me?
I look at the 2 boys in front of me I'm sure they got the life I always dreamed of. 2 happy parents, supportive parents. no arguments. They have money and probably a maid and bunches of friends and a little sister to care for and a happy family to love unconditionally.
I felt a hand grab mine and I look over to see chandler he smiled warmly at me as he rest his hand underneath mine for comfort this snapped me out of my thoughts
"Y/n? Dear you ok?" My mom asked I didn't realize I had a tear rolling down my cheek I wiped it away quickly
"Yes ma'am" I said feeling embarrassed
"Oh these are our boys max and Liam and little baby Alana" Daniel says pointing to each boy as they smile
" last time we talk you were in New York living what happened" my mom ask That was when I first moved Chandler gives me a tight squeeze for reassurance "Some things happened for the best and I left and came back home and I'm happy I did" I say looking at chandler and smiling "You don't talk much do you?" They ask looking at chandler he laughs a little "I do I just didn't wanna say anything and interrupt your conversation" Chandler says nervously We continue to talk and catch up and I feel like I'm living my happy little dream for just one night I have my mom and I have chandler. I'm only missing jimmy. - We thank them for dinner one last time as I hug my mom and chandler shakes there hands and we step into our Uber We pull off and head back to the hotel

We arrive and get out walking inside and to our room. I unlock the door with my key card and we enter. "You wanna change and watch a movie?" I suggest ripping off my heels as chandler shuts the door laughing at me a little "sounds perfect" he says I dig through my suitcase to find some shorts and a tank top to sleep in. I walk into the bathroom to change. I come out to see chandler already changed and propped up against the headboard. I brush my hair throwing it in a bun as I turn out all the lights and make sure our doors locked for the night
I pull the covers back and get into bed as Chandler lifts one of his arms up to engulf me I rest my head in his chest as I let out a deep breathe "I'd say dinner went well" he says " yea I'd do it again but not as fancy" I laugh a little as we pick a movie After a while We get comfy and i turn away from chandler so my backs to him now. But he pulled me into him. Sending butterflies through me. He kissed lightly on the back of my shoulder sending chills down my spine "goodnight y/n" "goodnight" I whisper before sleep engulfs me
