There was an elderly lady who used to sit by the window of her house and watch as the world move about in a fast pace while hers had slowed down.

One day, a young girl walked past her house and greeted the elderly lady with a warm smile.

"Good evening! Enjoying the sunset?" She asked and the lady nodded.

"Would you care to have tea with me?" The old lady asked in return.

Seeing she had no much work back at home, the young girl agreed. They had tea with freshly baked cake. The lady spoke about her young days where she and her friends would use to hang out together and how she used to be a mischievous girl.

She shared to the young girl how amazing was her life back then and how lonely it has become now. Her likes and dislikes too were shared.

When it was time to leave, the young girl asked for her favorite flower and that she would bring them tomorrow. "I like tulips. They have pretty colours."

The next day when the young girl returned with white tulips but found the elderly lady was no more. She had died the night before with a letter written for the young girl.

"THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, ANGEL!"
