I woke up breathing heavily and sweating. I looked around and saw myself still in bridal lehanga.

Suddenly I heard sounds of footsteps and door burst open. I got scared and moved back on the bed . They were two men and a woman.
One of them was young wearing a doctor coat and other one was middle aged police officer. That unknown young man came near me . I remembered now they helped me last night. But still I can't trust them .

"Hey, you all right? Tumhare chillane ki awaz ayi thi" he asked looking worried. But I was so scared that I didn't listen him. I shivered and moved away from bed and saw a empty vase there on the table.I picked it up in my hands for defence. They looked more worried now.

"Put it down please" he said and tried to come near me. I threw that vase at him . It hit his forehead resulting in bleeding. He held his side hissing badly.

"Manik "that police officer checked his injury.

"Mai thik hu dad. aap use dekho"manik said looking at me. I felt bad. His father came near me and hold my hand gently and made me sit on bed.

"What's your name ?" He asked to me. But I refused to answer him. He sighed and then sat beside me. I got tensed but he softly patted my head"please trust us"

"Nandini"I replied wiping my tears. He smiled at me encouragly.

"Nandini , I am Raj Malhotra. I am DSP of here"
He told me and then pointed to other man" he is my son manik. He is a general physician"

I looked at him.

He was bandaging himself and hissed applying ointment. Feeling my eyes on him ,he looked at me. Our eyes contacted but not more than two seconds. I looked away feeling my cheeks going red.

Why I am blushing?

"She is my daughter in law navya"he moved his finger to woman standing there . She smiled at me. She is also good.

"You can call me navya"she winked.

" Now tell me beta ,what happened with you? "He asked me. His question brought my bad memories. I cried badly . My tears were not stopping.

"Hey! Hey! Don't cry hmm. Take your time " he said in looking worried.

Why this much care?

May be they are good from heart.

I looked infront of me. They all are really good. Last night they took care of me . Also now they are asking about me health. There are still good people in this world.

My stomach grumbled making me more embarass. But they chuckled.

"You need food" Raj sir stated .

"Ok I will prepare food . You all come downstairs" manik said staring at me and left. Behind Raj sir also went.

"You take shower till then I will bring clothes for you" navya said excitingly . I smiled and nodded. She too left .

I sighed and went to bathroom. I looked in the mirror. I look scary as my makeup is smudged and my hairs are also messed and I am not wearing any jewellery. I removed my clothes and went under shower. The water fell on me. Whyyyyy?

"Whyy god?"

I cried silently in water that my tears got mixed with water. I took body shampoo and loofah rubbing myself harshly. I washed my every body parts. It's disgusting. I don't want his touch on my body. I rubbed and rubbed making my body red.

"Nandini"
Navya called from outside .

I turned off the shower and answered"haa "

"Maine kapde bahar bed par rakhe diye ,hmm"
She told me knocking on door.

"Ok navya"

"Mai Jaa Rahi hu. Tum ready hokar niche aa jana "she said and left closing the door.

I dried myself and went out.

I looked at the clothes and they were preety. I wore them and looked in mirror. My eyes looked dead without any emotions. I went down and saw them having breakfast.

"Come nandni "navya called me showing a seat. I awkwardly went and took the seat. She served me breakfast but I couldn't eat.

"Kya hua beta khana accha nahi hai kya?" Raj sir asked looking all worried.

"No sir it's just"I replied nervously. He looked intimidated. They smiled at me making little comfortable.

"Sir?call me uncle beta. No need of getting scared of me" he said smilingly. I smiled hesitately.

"Mai khna accha banata hu Nandini. Try it"said manik softly.

"Rehne do. Nandini tumhe pata hai ise pehle khana banana bilkul nahi ata tha" uncle said laughing making manik huff.

"Haa toh insan karne se hi to sikhta hai"he defended himself.

He is looking so cute.

"Nandini tumhe pata hai ek bar ye or cabir ji milkar cake bana rahe the hamare anniversary ke liye par inhone pura kitchen tabah kar diya tha. Mujhe laga inhone itni mehnat ki hai kuch accha hi hoga . Par tha kya ek Chhota sa jala hua kala sa cake."she told me laughing but her eyes were on manik. Manik narrowed his eyes on navya.

"Kya ghoor kyu rahe ho?" She asked in fake anger.

"Ane do cabir ko phir batata hu"saying this he went away. We laughed on him. May be I can trust them. May be god is not that bad.
