but thoughts of you are under my eyelids
and i just can't help but stay awake
so i can take in everything
that's left of you for me to see.
because if i fall asleep right now
your lips
your hands
and your eyes,
your touch
your laugh
and your smile
will fall asleep with me
and then when can i see you again?
i really just want to go to sleep
I'm so tired i can't even think of anything right now
can you please just stop looking at me like that?
like you don't know you're really just made up.
and you smile and you hold me
and i buy it
cause when I'm alone
that's the only time we get to be together.
you're never really here
you're just in the back of my mind
because i can't stand the thought of being alone
because being alone is actually my nightmare.
so, i don't want to go to sleep.
but i really want to go to sleep.
im just gonna rest you on my pillow
right beside me
so when I'll open my eyes in the morning
the wall will be staring back at me.
