(At the hospital, the doctor tells Macy that she's pregnant)

Sophie: (with joy) What! She's.... She's pregnant? Oh my goodness sis, that's great news!
Macy: (smiling in happiness)
Sophie: (happy) Am so happy for you. (Hugs her)
Doctor: Congratulations.
Macy: (breaks the hug) Thank you doctor.
Doctor: But...
Sophie: Why is there a 'but'?
Macy: Is there a problem doctor?
Doctor: There won't be any if you listen to what I'm about to say. You have a low level of iron in your body and your child needs iron. It is caused by improper dieting. For now I would advice you to avoid vigorous physical activities and focus on eating the proper food for your babies health. This would remove the risk of anaemia and miscarriage. Don't worry, it's nothing serious.
Macy: That explains the pain I felt earlier.
Doctor: Yes, so please take care of yourself and come for regular checkups. You are at your early stages so you need to be extra careful.
Macy: I will. Thank you doctor.
Sophie: So she just has to eat well right?
Doctor: Yes.
Sophie: Don't worry doctor, we'll take good care of her.
Doctor: That's good.
Sophie: Alright, thank you doctor and see you.
Macy: Thank you doctor.
Doctor: You're welcome. (They leave the doctor's office)

(Outside the doctor's office)

Melinda: Ma'am, what's wrong with Ma'am Macy?
Sophie: (in a sad way) There's something wrong with her.
Melinda: (worried) What's... What's wrong?
Sophie: (in joy) She's pregnant!
Macy: (in a low tone) Sophie! You don't have to announce it to the world.
Sophie: And what's wrong with that?
Melinda: (in joy) Oh my goodness ma'am, Am so happy for you!
Janice: Mom, what does pregnant mean?
Sophie: It means that your aunt Macy is going to have a new baby and you're going to have a new cousin.
Janice: (in joy) Really?
Sophie: (nods a yes)
Janice: (happy) Yey!
Macy: We really need to get home. Am worried about the girls.
Sophie: Oh that's right, the twins. Come on let's go. (They leave)

(Later at Macy's house)

Macy: Vida! Bella! (Looking for them around the house) Vida! Bella!
Bella? Where are you? Vida!
Sophie: Sis, I don't think they're in the house.
Macy: Oh right, they must be at Maxine's. I'll go get them.
Sophie: I'll come with you.
Macy: There's no need. Just make yourself at home and take care of Janice.
Sophie: Melinda is here to take care of her so let me come.
Macy: It's really okay Saffron. I'll just be in the neighbourhood, don't worry.
Sophie: But you heard what the doctor said, you can't take any stress.
Macy: Saffron....
Sophie: (cuts in) Listen sis. It's my job to take care of you so it's either I follow you or you're not going anywhere.
Macy: (smiles) Ok. Let's go.
Sophie: (As they leave) Melinda, take care of Janice, okay?
Melinda: Yes ma'am. (They leave)
(They arrive at Maxine's house)
Macy: Maxine! Maxine!
(Maxine comes out the door)
Maxine: Macy, what's wrong?
Macy: I know it's late and am sorry for disturbing you. I just wanna know if Vida and Bella are here?
Maxine: No they're not. Why?
Macy: I couldn't fetch them from school today and I was thinking maybe they came here.
Maxine: I haven't seen them all day.
Macy: (in a low tone) Where could they be?
Maxine: Why don't you check at Clara's? They could be there.
Macy: That's right, Clara. Thank you.
Maxine: Wait, I'll come with you.
Macy: Okay.
(They all leave for Clara's)
Maxine: Clara! Clara!
Macy: Clara!
Maxine: Clara! My goodness, is she deaf or what?
The three of them: (in unison) Clara!
(Clara coming out)
Clara: What animals could be shouting at my door in the middle of the night! (Complaining as she opens the door) You mannerless (opens the door) ani... Oh, it's you.
Maxine: Yes, it's us the mannerless animals.
Clara: Sorry, I didn't know you were the ones at the door.
Macy: It's okay. It is pretty late anyway.
Maxine: Where are they?
Clara: Who?
Maxine: The twins of course. It's time for them to go home.
Clara: But they're not here.
Maxine: What? What do you mean they're not here? Where else could they be if they aren't here?
Clara: Aren't they at your place? They often go there.
Maxine: Clara, would i be looking for them at your house if they're at mine?
Macy: (worried) Oh my goodness, where could they be?
Sophie: Sis, calm down, okay? We're gonna find them. (To Maxine and Clara) Let's look for them around the neighbourhood.
(They all look for them around the neighbourhood for a while at meet again)
Sophie: Did you find them?
Maxine: No.
Sophie: Clara?
Clara: Same.
Macy: I didn't find them either, Saffron. (Starts to cry) I can't believe I lost them.
Sophie: They're not lost, okay? We just haven't found them. Why don't you call their teacher maybe she knows something that could help us?
Macy: (stops crying) Okay. (She calls their teacher) Hello, miss Valentine?
Valentine: Yes?
Macy: This is Macy, Vida and Bella's mom. I just want to know if you happened to see them go anywhere after school or if someone came to pick them up. I couldn't come to pick them from school today and they're not in the house or the neighbourhood so please any information would really help.
Valentine: Actually, Mrs Salvador. The girls are here with me. I took them home when I saw no one came to pick them.
Macy: (relieved) Oh, thank you miss Valentine. Am really grateful. Thank you so much.
Valentine: I'll send you my address so you can come pick them.
Macy: Thank you so much. You just saved my life miss Valentine. Thank you.
Valentine: Don't mention it ma'am.
(She ends the call)
Sophie: What did she say?
Macy: The girls are with her and when she sends her address we can go pick them.
(The three women breathe a sigh of relief)
Maxine: That's such a relief.
Clara: It really is.
(A message enters)
Macy: I've got the address, let's go.
Sophie: Okay.
Macy: Thank you guys so much for the help.
Maxine: Anytime, Macy.
Clara: Anything for you.
Macy: Thank you. Am so lucky to have friends like you.
Maxine: Same here.
Clara: Same here.
Maxine: Alright, go now.
Macy: Thank you again. (They leave)
