"Par Matashree...hume nahi jana hai Mussoorie....jana jaroori hain kya?" I didn't remember how many times I repeated the same question to her.

"haan baccha...apke pitashree ka transfer hua hain na Mussoorie...jana toh jaroori hain hi" my matashree said, who was busy in packing kitchen utensils in a box.

"Par yaha humare itne sare friends hai...tappu, goli, gogi, pinku, sonu...humari friendship toot jayegi na...aur school ka kya?? hum toh school bhi nahi ja payenge" I said, tapping my legs on floor while walking and sat on the sofa with a bubbled face.

soon I heard matashree's footsteps approaching me. she sat beside me, and I turned my face on the other side.

"Arey ye toh bahot badi problem hain" she said sarcastically. "Umm...humare pass na ek solution hain iska" she said which made me turn towards her with wide eyes in excitement.

"kya...??" I asked with my dancing eyebrows.

"Hum Yash ko bol dete hain ki unki nanhi princess ko Mussoorie nahi jana hai...phir woh akele hi chale jayenge...aap rehe loge na apne pitashree ke bina" she asked casually which made me worry a little.

"kya!!...Pitashree hum dono ko yaha akela chodke jayenge?? I asked her been serious, not liking the idea of him going away leaving us alone.

"haan...aur apko pata hain...wahan woh apko bilkul bhi miss nahi karenge...because waha pe snow ke big big mountains jo hai....har taraf greenery hain bilkul jaisa apko pasand hai...apke pitashree toh waha jakar apko bhul hi jayenge" she said, and pulled me on her lap making me worry even more.......Yeah, yeah I know she was just rubbing some namak-mirch on my wound, but do you guys seriously expect from six years old masoom girl to understand these Indian mothers' tragedy??

(which is never ever possible 😌)

"nahi....Matashree hume bhi jana hain mussoorie...hume bhi snow main khel na hain...pitashree ko boliye na ki hume bhi saath leke chale...please" I requested with my puppy eyes, I cupped her face with my tiny palms and gave her my best smile. I very well know...her inner soul must be definitely dancing at that time on her victory, after playing with the emotions of this little girl...huh leave!!

"Par..."

"Par kya??" she asked.

"Humare friends....hum unhe bhi saath lekar chale matashree......please" I asked, twinkling my eyes.

"aisa nahi ho sakta beta...unn sab ki family hai yaha...woh nahi aa payenge" she said, and my face fell again. "Friends toh aap wahan bhi bana sakti hain na....aur agar kabhi apko apne yahan ke  friends ki yaad aaye toh phone pe baat karlena sab se...jisse aapki friendship bhi nahi tootegi" she said pacifying me.

"haan.." I finally agreed. she passed her heartwarming smile to me and kissed my cheeks. "chalo abb hume paking main thodi help kardo phir sabko goodbye kehene bhi toh jana hain na" and we walked towards the kitchen.

**********************************

"Pitashree kitni der kardi aapne aane main...apko pata hai na hume Mussoorie jana hai" I said, passing him a glass of water, and sat on his lap while he wrapped me securely.

"haan princesses...hum plane main furniture load karwane hi gay the..." he said. gulping down the glass of water. "Par aap kaise taiyyar ho gayi...apko toh nahi aana tha" he added.

"Nahi nahi pitashree...hum toh kabse taiyyar the...woh toh matashree nakhre kar rahi thi ki unhe nahi jana hai mussoorie..kitni thand hai wahan...par aapko kaise naa bolengi na woh...isiiiye hume bola ye natak karne ko" I acted to be sad innocently, tried to cover up, making him laugh at me while my dear matashree was staring at me like I was one of the Martians.

"awww...humne bola apko ye natak karne ke liye...ruko, abhi batate hai...." she said while walking towards us while pitashree stood up taking me trying to defend me from her. our carefree giggles echoed in the empty surrounding of the unfurnished house......those, innocence filled days!!

***********************************

"pitashree hume pahochne main kitni der lagegi??" I asked him as we relaxed ourselves on our seats, all ready to leave our Mumbai.

"Two days toh lag hi jayenge hume pahochne main princess" he said rolling up his sleeves, making my eyes go wide.

"Par hum Plane se kyu nahi gaye...humara furniture toh plane se gaya hain na" I said with a pout, the thought of those non-living things enjoying the breathtaking view from the plane was making me jealous.

"woh plane pitashree ke company ne arrange kiya tha humare liye...aur kitna sara furniture hain humara, apko bithane ki bhi jagah nahi thi...app bahar ka view dekho na kitna sundar hain" Matashree said, and I just glanced towards the window. and yes, she was right, that morning, chilly view of the surrounding was no less than anything! those running trees, big mountains, different shades of the sky, was making me Aww!! in amusement. and the best part was the tunnels, me and my pitashree was all shouting mess whenever the tunnel starts, which made my matashree to laugh at our childishness. we played uncountable games while travelling, I was hell enjoying, dancing, singing and mostly troubling my parents.......but my little heart was unaware of something beautiful which was knocking the door of my destiny!!!
