✮ NORA'S POV
After calming down a bit, I fixed my clothes, and walked towards the flower shop door. From the glass door I saw Steve going back and forth, he looked stressed.
I don't know how to describe how I'm feeling right now, but mostly I feel pain. Pain everywhere. And I feel ashamed of myself, because I let Ryle touch and kiss me like that.
I didn't even let him, and just because he was stronger I couldn't push him away, but I really tried.
Ryle was drunk, I knew that. Because when his lips touched mine, he tasted like cigarettes and alcohol. I didn't enjoy that he kissed me, not a bit. But I know that Ryle wouldn't have done this if he wasn't drunk.
I pushed flower's shop door open, and when Steve heard the bell ring, his head turned to the door. I walked in and closed the door after, then placed my handbag on the side-table near the door. I slowly made my way towards the counter, and then went behind it.
Steve was quiet for a while, and when I glanced up at him, he pursed his lips, "I thought you won't show up." He said and I placed my hands on the counter, looking at him.
"Why's that?" I asked and he shrugs.
"You didn't respond after I messaged you." He said.
"Sorry, I was hanging out with Atlas," I give him apologetic look, and he nods, understanding.
He's acting way too nice right now. That's not very 'Steve' of him.
"I'm sorry too, I didn't know you were spending time with him, if I had known, I wouldn't have-"
"It's okay Steve." I let out a laugh and looked around the place. Steve decorated the walls with garlands while I wasn't in the shop. The new decorations were new, because I remember Sophie ordering them, to make this place a bit cozier to work in. She ordered garlands with lights, so being here in the flower shop at night, would be an amazing view with all the lights.
"You did a good job," I said with a grin, still admiring his work, making him chuckle.
"Sophie wanted me to unpack everything and decorate this place before she comes back." He explains and I nod then look at him again.
"How's Sophie?" I asked.
That made him go silent for a few second, before he spoke up again, "she's doing alright." That was the answer he gave me before he turned away and grabbed a big box with more decorations in it.
"Sophie said she left the notes with orders on one of the shelfs behind you." He informed me, and I turned around, glancing at all shelfs, searching for small blue papers.
When I found them, I grabbed them and glanced at all of them, remembering the orders, and then going straight to work.
"We both can go!" Atlas exclaims, crossing his arms. I roll my eyes at him and sit on the couch, crossing my arms too. He wanted to visit Meis with me today, because he really missed her. And I know that Meis missed him too.
