꧁꧂

She lived a life of colors
The dark oak tree,
The evergreen grass,
The auburn autumn leaves

She lurked beneath shadows
To blend with what's there,
To hide from the eyes so swift,
To live in solitude with no mere peer

She roamed the forest in rapture
Nevertheless of danger,
Nevertheless of the dark,
Nevertheless of loneliness

She closed her eyes and breathed,
Recalled her crawls and strolls,
While wearing the colors she's worn
On the days she went in scorn

She lived a life of fullness
Now lying still for the end,
Now looking back on friends,
Yet happy for what she's been
