Mirana's eyes open and she groans when she registers the pain in her back and stomach. She sits up and moves the blankets off of her and her eyes widen in horror.

"Hey-"

"Out!" Mirana pushes Tim out of the bedroom and closes the door.

"Mirana?" Tim knocks on the door. "You okay?"

"Can you bring me some fresh sheets please?" Mirana asks, wanting the ground to open up and swallow her.

"Why do we need fresh sheets?"

"Tim!" Mirana snaps.

"Going to get them now,"

Tim quickly retrieves fresh sheets from the linen closet and returns to the bedroom, where Mirana's hand is sticking through the gap.

"Here you go," he says. "Are you okay?"

Mirana doesn't reply and Tim can hear her muttering to herself before quiet sniffles sound out through the room. Tim pushes the door open to see Mirana halfway through changing bloodstained sheets, her head bowed as she sniffles.

"Hey," Tim whispers and Mirana looks at him.

"Dios mio!" Mirana turns Tim around. "You were supposed to stay outside"

"I could hear you crying," Tim says. "Why are you crying?"

"Because I stained the sheets!" Mirana sobs and Tim's eyebrows rise in surprise at the whiplash he is getting from Mirana's emotions.

"It's just blood," Tim says, pulling her into his arms. "You got your period, it's normal. Why are you crying?"

"No se!" Mirana sniffles and Tim tries to hide his chuckle in her hair. "Are you laughing at me?!"

Tim tries to suppress a grin as he holds Mirana close, his chest rumbling with suppressed laughter. "No, I would- I would never," he says quickly, trying to reassure her.

Mirana pulls back slightly, glaring at him through teary eyes. "You are laughing at me!" she accuses, her voice trembling.

Tim raises his hands in surrender, his grin breaking through. "Okay, maybe just a little," he admits sheepishly. "But only because you're being stupid"

"Tonta?!"

"Stupid in the most adorable way possible," Tim amends, his grin widening as he wipes away a stray tear from Mirana's cheek. "The doctor said they had no way of knowing when your period would come back after the surgery. Come on, let's get these sheets changed, and then I'll make you a hot drink. What do you want?"

"I don't know! Stop asking me questions!" Mirana huffs, wiping at her face angrily. "I stained my favourite sweatpants!"

"I can always buy you a new pair of sweatpants," Tim says. "I could be extra nice and buy you two pairs"
