Changed my mind. I'm going to update as most as I can, because I'm getting really sick of this story and the sooner I can get this trilogy over with, the better. This chapter it's Taiven, Ridge and finishes with Gabrielle.

Picture of Drew Roy on the side who plays the very hot and cool Alacreed Montrosa (Gabrielle's boyfriend)  and as song for this chapter I chose Say by the Glee Cast. Love the song ;) Listen to the lyrics!

Anyway, enjoy the crappy chapter! Sorry couldn't make it any longer; I don't think that I'll ever be able to beat the nine page chapter I did in book one xD.

Chapter 8

Taiven

Tara wasn’t far away. He could feel her emotions more clearly than it had been in months. She was on land, and she was happy. Taiven, not so much.

“What do you know about the Lost Kingdom?” Braxlin asked him, his expression as cold as ice. This was his fourth time asking the question because Taiven refused to answer.

Taiven’s gaze went from Braxlin, to Auron, and finally to the awkward skinny teenage boy that was standing rather far away from everyone else.  Clearly, the boy did not want to be here just as much as Taiven did. Taiven was usually quite good at reading people, and he just knew that the boy meant absolutely no harm. But why did he stay here then?

“I know many things of the Lost Kingdom.” He admitted with a smile to the dark mermens. “But it is my decision if I should tell you what I know, or not.”

Apparently that was the wrong thing to say, because immediately, Auron slammed his fists on the table beside him, making the baby girl cry.  “We are not here to play games!” The dark merman half-shouted clearly on edge. “I have been gracious enough to keep you alive for this long, do not test my patience.”  A small moment of silence past before he continued. “I suggest you tell us want we want to know, otherwise Majesty, it would be my pleasure to kill you at this moment.”

With a sigh, Taiven looked down at his hands. Auron hadn’t tied him up; the dark merman was probably expecting that he would behave; which of course he was. And what was his reward? Death threats? This is not how a King should be treated.

Still, with a sigh, Taiven finally looked up at Auron and Braxlin and said what they’d wanted to hear. “Sentence from above To help the kingdom in their time of need Bound to it by love Sacrificing already enough. The markings on the tail Show the trail To the place where the Kings of Old Once hailed. A kingdom will fall One will rise Two worlds will collide Many will fade away And die. In complete darkness The doors will be found Seven will enter Two will turn around One will die Four will complete the journey Two will return to the rightful place that they must be. When all hope is lost And all that remains is despair The chosen one The fairest of all the kingdoms Will stand tall And bring faith To them all.” As soon as the Prophecy left his mouth, a flow of regret filled him. He shouldn’t have said anything; but now it was too late. He watched as Auron and Braxlin looked at each other with worry.

“I don’t get it.” The boy that was on the other side of the room said; breaking the awkward silence. “You’re telling me, that one merperson is going to decide the destiny of both kingdoms?”

Taiven nodded, looking at him. “Do you believe in faith?” He then decided to ask the boy.

He was going to answer, but Braxlin interrupted them. “Gregory” He snapped. “Maybe you should go to school now after all.”
