Talia's POV

I am too astonished by his response to say anything and honestly the only thing that I want right now is to get out of this damn house. I follow him and he suddenly stops in the middle of the sidewalk and turns to face me.

"Where is your car ?" He asks blankly.

"It's still in the middle of the road, down here" I point to the place where I left my car.

He walks over to it and gestures for me to come. He then grabs the car by its door and I do the same with the other door and we both push it until it's not in the middle of the road anymore.

"Call the mechanics tomorrow so he'll come and pick your car up." Harry says and continues walking down the road.

The weather is a bit cold in this late night as I walk behind him in silence. The only sound that can be heard is the faint sound of our footsteps on the sidewalk. We finally reach Harry's car and he gets in without saying a word.

We roll in silence for a few minutes until Harry's phone starts to ring. He ignores it but it rings again and again so I look over and see the name "Ashton Irwin" on the screen.

Harry finally looks at the phone and shuts it down and the silence between us returns.

"Why didn't you answer ?" I ask as an attempt to start a conversation.

"That's none of your business" be replies coldly. Of course he can't talk to me in a decent way, I frown at how arrogant he is.

"Why can't we talk like two civilized human beings ?" I raise my voice getting more and more annoyed at him.

"Because I don't like talking and you ask too many questions" Harry responded his long fingers tapping on the steering wheel.

I definitely can't have a talk with this boy without him being all arrogant and sarcastic and without me being left feeling insulted.

I choose not to respond to him because I don't feel like fighting with someone at this late time.

I sigh and rest my head against the window and all i can hear is the tapping of Harry's fingers on the wheel. He intensives the tapping and I get the feeling that he's doing it on purpose to get on my nerves. Don't fall for his childish games Talia, you're better than this.

I finally turn to look at him and ask him to stop the tapping. He smiles and stops for a few minutes before starting again.

"It's a nervous habit, I can't help it" he lets out a small laugh when he notices the frown on my face.

"Why did you leave the party ?" I choose to ignore his comment and ask him since he is the one starting the conversation this time.

"Because I was bored." He simply states and adds "don't think I left for you, I'm not the heroic kind of guy."

"Oh my God." I say "You're an asshole" i can't stop the words coming out of my mouth.

"Oh come on, I'm being honest here and be more respectful since I basically saved your ass when I don't normally let anyone in my car. " he says very seriously.

At this point my face is burning and I feel the anger rising in my body. If there was a word stronger than the word arrogant it would be Harry.

"I really don't want to fight with you right now so please can you stop the useless comments all together" I tell him trying to keep my voice controlled.

Before he can reply, his phone starts ringing again and it's the same person calling again: Ashton Irwin. This time Harry huffs and picks up the phone.

"Irwin, I can't talk right now, I'll call you when I get home" he rapidly says in a low voice.

A moment of silence follows and Harry sighs before telling that Ashton Irwin guy that he "really" can't talk right now before shutting his phone down.

I feel Harry tensing up next to me as soon as he ends the call and I wonder what the guy told him. He looks frustrated and his tapping on the steering wheel is faster. He looks so impatient to arrive at home that I wonder how serious the thing that Irwin told him was.

I decide not to ask questions since he definitely doesn't look in the mood to answer and I feel so relieved when I finally recognize my neighborhood.

"Thank you for the ride, I appreciate it." I tell him while getting out of his car.

"Yeah okay" He simply replies without even looking at me and drives away quickly.

I stand on the pavement too confused by his weird behavior. What's wrong with this guy and why is he so mysterious and secretive about everything? The thoughts that I had last week about him being part of a mafia return to my mind as I wonder if Ashton Irwin was the guy that was holding a gun the other day.
He intrigues me so much for some reason, everything that he hides screams "discover me" so I decide to start my small research on who Harry Styles really was and somehow I feel like I'm about to embark on something much bigger than I would have ever imagined.
