It All Started With A Dare

hey guys! here's an early update because im at the hotel by myself and my family decided that it will be a good idea to leave me here alone while they go eat KFC. 

sorry for the lack of updates, but here's chapter 16! enjoy!

It is now the 28th of December, Monday. It had been exactly 3 days, 8 hours, 54 minutes, and 37 seconds since Ashton had stormed out of my house. Who's counting? I have no idea.

Well, this is surely not how I expected to spend my New Year. 

I think the amount of food I ate in the last 3 days is the total of what I would usually eat in one hour. I called Natalie and told her to help me tell my teachers that I was sick, and of course, she asked me what happened since I'm not the kind of person to stay home when I was sick. I told her it's because of my cramps, but....

"Bullshit. I may love to shop, but I'm not buying your bullshit." she said, during our phone call this morning. 

So here I am, sitting in my bed, waiting for her to come charging in my bedroom in 6 minutes.

"What's up? I literally just left you for a day with those two-". Natty eyes widened. "Oh. Oohh." she started slowly. 

I didn't say anything, and just kept my eyes on the mug in my hands. 

"Tell me every single thing that happened. Wait. Which of those two twin was it? I won't promise you that I won't kill them though." 

So I took a deep breath, and told her everything, including what happened when Julian had came over to have our 'study date'.

"Wow. That asshole actually had the nerves to do that. I never knew that Julian had that in him." Natty said, gritting her teeth. 

"But did you know that he liked me though?" I asked, curiously.

Natty looked at me as if I had grown a second head. " I don't know. I mean, if you don't count the way he looks at you, it's not that obvious." She paused when she realized that I actually didn't know that. "Duh. Everyone knew that, except for you yourself. I should've never told you to do that dare." 

"Anyways. Girl, you're not staying at your damn house for a day longer. How long was it since you last showered? You smell horrible." she criticized. 

"Were you sniffing me?!" My eyes wide opened in disbelief. 

"Nope. You just smell that bad. "Now you're gonna go take that shower and we gonna talk. 

I gulped as she pushed me towards my bathroom. 

"Off you go!" 

I washed my body with warm water, and I immediately felt much better.

I honestly don't know how she did it, but Natalie had somehow persuaded me to come to school and talk with Ashton. It's time for lunch and haven't seen him for the whole morning. Is he hiding away from me? I walked into the cafeteria, hoping that I would see him there. 

Just when I was going to open the cafeteria doors, suddenly, out of nowhere, Natalie grabbed my arm and waved frantically. 

"Um. Hi Anna!" she said weirdly. "Long time no see!"

"I just saw you two periods ago" I stared at her, wondering what she has on her mind. 

"Uh. Yeah, I forgot. Anyways, you're not hungry right? Um. Let's go to the library!" she said as she began to drag me away from the cafeteria doors. 

"Natty! What are you doing? You're the one who told me to go find Ashton and I haven't seen him for the whole day yet! He's probably in there eating."

I removed her hand from my arms, fast-walked to the cafeteria, and shoved the doors opened. My eyes scanned throughout the room and landed immediately on Ashton. 

With a girl. 

Sitting on his lap. 

Kissing. 

My heart stopped and it felt like as if my whole world is crashing down. 

"Erm. Told you we should've went to the library?" she half-whispered.

A/N

i was thinking that i should do a quesiton time with y'all, so here it is!

1. She's going to leave the school and cry herself to sleep at home. 

2. She's going to march over to where Ashton is and grab that bimbo off his lap and slap him in the face!

3. She is going to do the above and instead of slapping Ashton in the face, they're going to talk.
