Cadence's POV

[ T-this is the royal ballroom and banquet hall" ]

I explained to the beautiful twins following me

I had already shown them a fair bit of the palace to which they responded with their 'oohs' and 'ahhs'

It was honestly quite..... awkward

But I have to admit the children of this world were really something else

Despite only being 5, they excluded an elegant and proud aura worthy of their elite status

Every little action was perfect, prim and proper

This would be a nearly impossible sight to see in the modern 21st century on Earth

It was clear they held much pride in themselves, but the aura they excluded was different from princess Vera's

With their manners and way of speech it was obvious they had been very well educated and taught

[ "Oh, yes we remember attending the fifth princess's birthday here. Right Claira?" ]

[ "Indeed, it was quite the splendid party!" ]

They both looked identical from every little feature that could be seen

The only way I was able to differentiate the two, was the different colours of their gowns and the flower clip that only Claira had in her hair

I blurt out unknowingly to which the pair giggle at

I was both surprised and confused by her sudden question

[ "Come on now, your highness! We are all around the same age and since it seems like we'll be meeting often now, wouldn't it be good to become friends?" ]

I stare at them blankly with my mouth open

I'm sure that at this moment, my expression was very unsightly and improper

Their smiles were bright and I could see the glimmer in their gorgeous dry eyes

[ "Is... is it really okay to do so..?" ]

I say very meekly

Anyone watching could clearly see that they were the extroverts here and I... well...

Claira exclaims excitedly

The pair looked like toddlers that had become star struck by a toy they'd seen
