I walked out of class relieved that I'm going to Blair's and not home. Blair is waiting for me outside my classroom.

"Hello," I said awkwardly feeling bad for inviting myself over to her house.

"Hey, you look adorable when your awkward," she replied with a light laugh.

"I'm awkward all the time," I retorted rolling my eyes.

"My point exactly," Blair snickered. A crimson blush covering my cheeks at her remark.

We are laying on Blair's bed with her non-broken arm wrapped around me and her hand fiddling with strands of my hair contently. We're talking when she suddenly asks "Have you ever thought about us going public?"

I readjusted so I could look at her "No not really."

"Well is it something you'd be interested in?" Blair looked worried as she spoke.

"What's with all the questions?" I asked discombobulated as to why we are talking about this now.

"Wouldn't you rather go public than be outed?" Blair questioned; her eyebrows furrowed slightly.

"I don't know. Obviously I don't want to be outed but I'm petrified of what could happen. Aren't you scared of what people will say and do?" I questioned incredulously.

"Yeah I guess but we would have each other," Blair replied with puppy dog eyes. We sat up a little so we are now properly looking at each other.

"I don't know. I'll think about it," I said as Blair moved tracing her fingers on my hand creating shivers run down my spine.

I looked deeply into Blair's eyes; every problem seems so minuscule when she's around. There was a knock on her door. Before Blair had answered who it is who said her name her sister walked in.

"Oh, sorry I didn't know you were with your girlfriend," Jessie practically sang the word girlfriend to annoy Blair.

Blair and I moved apart from each other embarrassed even thought we we're just talking.

"What do you want," Blair replied annoyed.

"Can't I just want to see my little sis?" Jessie remarked innocently.

"No you only come into my room when you want something or need to tell me something," Blair retorted.

"True," Jessie sighed with a laugh. "Mum wanted to know if you could help her out with dinner because Grandma and Granddad are coming over, although I could just tell her that your busy with your girlfriend not wanting to help."

"Why can't you?" Blair interjected.

"Because little sis I'm the older one," Jessie stated like it was a valid reason.

"Fine,"

Blair and I walked downstairs.

"I can go," I said looking at Blair.

"I want to spend more time with you," Blair protested wrapping one arm around my waist and leaned in to kiss me softly.

"Blair are you coming to help me or not!" Blair's mum shouted from the kitchen.

Blair pulled away laughing slightly. Blair's mum walked out into the hallway with flour smeared on her forehead and a messy apron.

"Hi Addison I didn't know you we're here," She said giving Blair a pointed look.

"Yeah sorry I didn't tell you mum but Addison didn't want to go home yet," Blair replied looking at me worriedly.

"Is everything okay or would you like to stay for dinner?" She asked sweetly.

I feel sick at the thought of just going home although I should probably stop procrastinating.

"Addison?" Blair said my name in a questioning tone looking at me.

"Sorry I was just thinking."

"I think you should stay a little longer then you know that your dad will be home and you're mum probably won't say anything in front of him yet," Blair said trying to make me feel at least a little better.

"Or she's told him and their fighting again," I replied bluntly.

"What's wrong?" Blair's mum asked looking concerned.

"Addison's parents are homophobic pieces of shit," Blair responded irritated.

"Don't swear!" Blair's mum said displeased shaking her head.

"Sorry," Blair muttered.

"Well stay here for a little while longer then see what you want to do. I do have one request though, please help out with the cooking. I decided that it would be a good Idea to make my famous soup and bake a cake at pretty much the same time," She rambled.

"Sure I could use a distraction," I admitted.

The food looked pretty good. Blair's Grandma and Granddad came round a few minutes ago and are now sitting at the table. I sat next to Blair unsure of what Blair would say to them. She must have somehow sensed that when she said "So, Grandma and Granddad this is my Girlfriend Addison."

"Hello Addison It's nice to meet you," Blair's Grandma greeted politely. Blair's Granddad just grumbled a 'hello' not really looking at me.

"Ignore my husband he treats everyone like that don't take it personally," Blair's Grandma apologised for him.

Everything was going fine, the conversation moved onto about if Jessie had a boyfriend which was a no because she doesn't want to be in a relationship at the moment. Then Blair's Grandma started to talk to Blair and I about our relationship.

"So how long have you two been together?" She questioned.

"Nearly two months officially," Blair stated looking at me with a smile.

"You know I always thought you were a little gay," Blair's Grandma interjected.

"Grandma," Blair groaned.

"What it's true. You used to go around the house singing 'I kissed a girl' and staring at all the girls in those fashion magazines," she replied dismissing Blair's response by waving her hand around.

"That doesn't mean I would end up being bi," Blair protested.

"You used to rate them from 1-10 on how pretty you thought they were and you used to make all your Barbies marry each other."

"Hhhmmm," Blair cringed moaning.

I started laughing at that because Blair's Grandma is amazing at embarrassing her; something that I'm not yet able to do, so It's a very rare occasion.

"I think it's cute," I cooed just so Blair could hear. I watched her as her cheeks wen't a deeper crimson colour and laughed slightly.

Blair and I said goodbye to each other a little after dinner.

"Wait," Blair said before she kissed me tenderly on the lips. Even the shortest of kisses leaves me with goosebumps and an overwhelming feeling of happiness.

Now it's just time for home...
