no one could resist the allure of cooper whittemore, even after finding out it was due to a supernatural force inside him.

         COOPER WHITTEMORE TRIED to be the exact opposite of his brother. It's not that he hated Jackson, they were always very close, even after Jackson forced the alpha Derek Hale to bite him, triggering his siren abilities because yeah, apparently Cooper was a fucking Siren. But Jackson apologized for that, so all was mostly forgiven between the brothers, even though Jackson then decided to fuck off to London because "killing people as the kanima was not fun and I might be a werewolf now but I can't stay" which was reasonable.

          But Cooper didn't try to act differently from his brother because he hated him, only people other people hated him. Yeah, Jackson was a bit controlling, a bit of douche, and a bit narcissistic but he was still Cooper's brother, so he had to love the guy even though he made sure not to get involved in relationships, make sure to let others take control in situations, and stay the hell away from his feelings.

         He was Cooper the player, and Cooper the Siren who lured people in because he was so damn charming and couldn't help himself. Really, he couldn't. It was involuntary. But he was trying, and he was fortunate that another Siren in Beacon Hills (because of course there's someone else) was training him on control and how to hone his skills. He didn't have time for feelings nor did he need them.

         But as tensions are high again with the news of an alpha back arriving in Beacon Hills, feelings are also out to get Cooper in the form of an adorable beta named Scott McCall.

hi yes i am back on my bullshit and loving teen wolf again. this is my original hoe and it feels like logan lerman coming back at the end of the decade to say that he IS twitter's white boy, no one else, and showing everyone else their place because now there's a teen wolf renaissance and it is ending all other shows. like it is the original and it is coming back to tell us that so we don't forget again.

to clarify some things: cooper and jackson are not blood related siblings. if you remember, jackson was adopted so technically by blood he is not a whittemore, but cooper is. cooper and jackson are the same age, jackson being a little bit older because i'm saying that the whittemores were friends with jackson's birth family and took him in when they died because they were jackson's godparents. so there.

(and also i did recast jackson because colton hayne is problematic and i'm not sure if he's apologized for that, but with what i know i am not comfortable with him being jackson so i recasted him instead. and big thanks to iiBELLONAii for helping me pick out a new fc for him!!)

for anyone wondering, cooper is a siren, but not the "luring men to death by the water" type. he's more going to be like the lost girl depiction of sirens with hale with some other twists and supernatural reasons for him being this way.

anyway i'm super excited about this so let's get it!!!!

(last note: i unpublished this because i wasn't happy with the first couple of chapters. i didn't really know how to introduce cooper into the group in season four when i originally planned this to be, i also just don't like season 4 much so i'm changing it to be in season 3 and that cooper's already in the gang.)
