Minchan Chapter

Flashback to when Chan took Minho

"Minho, we should probably talk" he heard Chan say as he turned around to see him

"Yeah okay, I guess so. Bye Felix. You should really try to talk to Jisung" he said as he walked away with the other

Minho followed Chan into the house and awkwardly stood in the kitchen as he waited for Chan to say something, hoping that he didn't already somehow ruin any chance that he had with him

"Hi" Chan said with a smile, causing Minho to calm down a bit as he let out a sigh

"Hi" he replied "How are you?" Minho asked, trying to avoid whatever Chan had to talk to him about

Minho was scared that someone from lunch, specifically Jeongin had told Chan what he had said about him being cute and wanting to know him better. He was kind of scared that Chan was going to reject him or tell him that he wasn't interested just like Jisung did a few months ago

"I'm good, how are you?" Chan asked back, noticing that Minho still seemed kind of nervous

"I'm good too but I think I should go back to Felix. He thinks that Jisu-"

"He's talking to Jisung, I think they're fine" Chan cut him off and pointed out the window to where Felix was sitting by the pool, near Jisung

"Oh" Minho said "that's good hopefully, they make up soon"

"Minho"

"Yeah?"

"Do you still like Jisung?" Chan asked, causing Minho to become extremely confused

"No. I stopped liking him a while after he blocked me and started ignoring me" Minho responded. He wanted to ask Chan why he was asking about it but now also questioning if Chan knew anything about what he had said

"Do you like someone else?"

Minho stopped himself so that he could think about what to say instead of saying "no" and lying

"Maybe, do you?"

"There's someone who I think is cute and I would like to ask them out on a date so kinda"

"Oh. That's nice. Good luck" Minho responded quickly as he tried to force a smile and walk away but Chan lightly grabbed his hand and made Minho face him

"Wait- I still have to ask you a question" Chan explained, as he grabbed Minho's other hand so that the younger would actually face him

"What?"

"Would you like to go on a date with me sometime?" Chan asked, taking Minho completely by surprise as he just stared at Chan

"...Minho?" Chan asked, trying to get him to respond somehow

"Yes"

"Yes to me calling your name or yes to going on a date?" Chan questioned, trying to clarify what he meant before getting happy about it

"The date" Minho said "You were talking about me?"

"Yeah" Chan smiled, causing Minho to smile back "You're so cute" Chan said as they both subconsciously started moving closer to each other

Before their lips could touch, they both quickly moved away from each other when they heard someone scream

"What the heck?" Minho asked, more out of confusion then sadness because they didn't actually kiss since it seemed too soon for that anyways

Chan ran to the door so he could go outside and find out why the heck it sounded like there was a dolphin now in the back yard while Minho followed him

After Chan found out that it was just Jeongin being overdramatic about Changbin and Hyunjin he saw Felix quickly get up and walk away from Jisung without saying anything to anyone

"I messed up" Jisung said with a guilty look in his eyes
