I walk downstairs and see Leo with a massive bag, looking like he's just robbed it from Santa's workshop.
"Oh I'm so excited!" He says, "I loved buying all the gifts then leaving them to you to wrap"
"It took me two hours" i say glaring at him
"Come on, let's go" he says
"Jimmy, you ready for us?" Leo asks Jimmy who is our driver and security for the day
"Get it kiddos" he says and i laugh
We get in the volvo, not before putting the presents in the boot of the car, or as Americans call it... the trunk.
"How much did you donate lily?" Jimmy asks
"Five grand" i say
"Five grand!" He repeats shocked
"Yeah, I've been saving up money all my life to donate. As you know I donated most of it to British Heart Foundation, I had some left over that dad told me to donate to a good cause, so I split it halfway. Half goes to cancer research and half is going to them" i say
"Your a good kid lily" he says
"I know" i say smugly and Leo chuckles
"How far away are we?" Leo asks
"Leo, we just got in the car your as bad as my four year old" Jimmy says and i laugh
Jimmy has always been the most open with us and he isn't afraid to tell us to fuck off.
Which I LOVE about him.

"We're here" he says stopping outside of a brightly lit house
"Jeez. Alex was right, it is like national lampoons Christmas" i say
"Wait Alex is an orphan?" Leo asks
"Yeah why?" I ask him
"I just, I don't know" he says
"Don't act weird about it Leo" i say
"I'm not going to act weird about it" he says
The door opens of the house and three people come out and walk towards us.
"Your maj-" she begins
"No no no, none of that" Leo says and i chuckle
"We aren't fans of the formalities, I'm Lily" i say shaking their hands
