The next morning
Raven woke up and saw Marco knocked out. She gets out of bed wrapping her robe around her and turning on the news.
"Says Llody Baker was killed last night getting in a car with his friend Tony Smith" Raven looks at Marco who's sound asleep. She walks downstairs and sees Eve and Danny already up cooking breakfast. Quan and Steven are in the living room smoking
"Good morning babies. Hungry? " Danny asked
"Yeah," she said sitting down at the island.
"How are you feeling? " Eve asked
"I'm alright. Still processing everything"
"Seen the news? " Danny asked
"Yup woke up to it"
"So you think they.
"Just leave it. I don't even want to bring it up" Raven said even though she suspected they did she ain't won't anything to fall back on her.
"I understand," Danny said flipping the bacon.
Naomi and Kam walk out smiling kissing each other.
"Somebody got some dick last night," Eve said.
Raven and Danny laugh
"And did," Naomi said coming to steal a bacon. She comes sits next to Raven. "How are you feeling? "
"I'm better than yesterday," Raven said smiling a little.
Marco comes down the steps walks up to Raven kisses her forehead and walks into the living room.
"Aye that shit hit the news," Steven said
"What they say? " Marco asked
"Shit, they don't know who did. We wore all black for a reason"
Marco looks back at Raven seeing her talking to the girls. "Good," he said grabbing the blunt.
"So anybody got work today? " Raven asked
"You know I do," Naomi said
"Of course"
"We can take off," Eve said
"Wanted to go show a house today Raven said
"You sure? " Danny asked
"Yeah," Raven said getting up. "I'm going to get ready"
Naomi gets up and goes upstairs with her. "Hey. Are you sure you are okay? "
"Yes. Why y'all keep asking? "
"Well I work most days so I barely ask"
"You're right. I'm sorry. But I'm fine." Raven said seeing Marco come in.
"You good? " He asked
"Yeah going into work"
"No you good," He said
"Marco"
"Raven! "
"Give me a minute," Raven said talking to her sister.
Naomi walks out of the room.
"Look I've been in this house for almost 2 weeks now. I'm not staying in here another day. It's draining" she said going to her closet.
"Let me take you out then? "
"Maybe later. ".
"You not going in today. Might as well reschedule "
"Marco I'm not. And we need to talk anyways"
"About what? Don't say that Shelly shit? "
"No. I think you should get out the game"
"Hell nah! "
"Why not? "
"Raven I'm not doing that bro. Got shit coming left and right. I can't give that away"
"Marco and I can't see you locked up another 3 years maybe more"
"That ain't gone happened," He said coming up to her
"Marco I'm dead ass serious. I'm not playing you need to figure your shit out" Raven said
"What are you saying for real? " he said becoming mad "You gone leave me? "
"Marco..
"No tell me that shit," He said grabbing her arm.
"DID I SAY THAT? No!" She said yanking from him..
"I can't just leave this shit so easily Raven. This all know" Marco said
"Marco you can start doing a real business. Something else you good at" Raven said
"That's too much money to be putting into"
"And you'll make it back. You know that"
"Raven...
"I'm serious. Now I have to go" Raven said kissing him on the lips going downstairs.
