" Are you guys coming with me or do y'all want to go to Uncle Reem's house ?" I asked, Raia and Mia.
Today was the day before Lannah's birthday , so today I was going to be running errands to make sure we have everything ready for the trip. I gave Lannah the choice to go to school or not so I figured I should give them a choice as well.
They whispered amongst each other until they decided they wanted to give me an answer.
" We want to go to Uncle Reem's house." Raia said.
" Are y'all sure ?" I asked, and they both nodded their heads. " Okay get your shoes please." I said, before going to Lannah's room.
" Mamas are you ready to go ?" I asked.
" Yes ma'am." she said, grabbing her book bag and following me.
Once the girls got downstairs we headed to Lannah's school since we were already running late.
" Bye beautiful, mommy loves you." I said, as Lannah got out of the car.
" I love you too mommy." she waved. " Bye Raia and Mia, I love y'all." she said, before closing the door.
" Should we get Starbucks ?" I asked.
" Mama is that even a question?" Raia asked.
" YaYa you know we love Starbucks." Mia said, making me laugh.
" Yea, I don't know why I asked." I said, heading towards Starbucks. After I ordered all of our drinks I headed towards Reem's house.
" Mama can I get my croissant ?" Raia asked.
" Sure." I said, handing her the bag.
After 5 minutes we puled up to Reems house.
" Uncle Reem." the girls yelled, as he opened the door.
" Wassup y'all." he said, picking them up and kissing them on their cheeks. " Hey Yana. Y'all late today." he said, hugging me.
" Yea I took off work today, I got to run some errands for Lannah's trip." I said. " I'll probably pick them up around like 1." I said.
" That's good. Jaliyah got me going ta this la parenting class with her at like 2." he said, making me laugh.
" Why you don't wanna go bubba ?" I asked.
" I already got all these nieces, I know how ta take care of a baby." he said. " Did you go ta parenting classes?" he asked, and I scrunched up my face.
" Now why the hell would I do that. By the time I had Lannah, Jashae and Mora was already here so I had plenty of practice, plus Riah." I shrugged.
" Exactly, I got Shae, Mora, Lannah, Mya, Raia, and Mia. The hell I needa to go for." he said.
" Because that's what she wants. Trust me it's easier to tell a pregnant women than no." I said.
