Both crews got along very well
The party included various drinking competitions, cook offs, knowledge sharing...etc
A breeze blew through the night sky
Blinding stars looked down at the two siblings sitting a top the straw-hatted captain-s proclaimed seat
"I love pirate parties shishishi! they're always so fun!" A hand rested upon the man's most treasured possession to prevent the wind from stealing it
The other male simply grinned, nodding in agreement
"They sure seem to be very chaotic when it comes to your crew's parties" Ace looked towards the 3rd drinking competition the green haired swordsman and straw hat's navigator had begun
The ginger seemed delighted with the amount of money she was winning
The unofficial vice satisfied with all the booze he could drink
The siblings observed the starry night, content with each other's presence
"Hey Luffy? Do you know where I am right now?"
The younger stiffened
"I mean, I don't expect you to keep in contact via letters, you would forget in a heart beat!" The fire user laughed "But did you see me in any recent news causing ruckus?"
The rubber man's lips thinned
"Luffy?" Ace took notice of the silence and turned towards his baby brother
The man looked uncomfortable despite trying to appeal otherwise
Luffy crossed his legs and looked down, fidgeting with his fingers
"Lu, tell me the truth" Ace patted the younger's shoulder "You've been hiding this from me for a while now, huh? Where am I?"
Silence
"So...you've uh noticed" A hesitant voice spoke up
"Of course I have, you've never been the best at hiding things, or lying"
"Heh, I guess you're right.."
"Luffy..." Ace gained a determined look in his eyes
"I-"
"We shouldn't know, Ace" A lower and older voice startled both boys
"Pops, Marco..." Ace glared slightly at the men
"We've gone over this, Ace. I understand you're curious yoi, but we shouldn't know"
"Has the future Marco gone back?" Luffy spoke up
"Yeah, said he had business to take care of" Whitebeard answered
The light wind picked up again
Soft whistles could be heard, lulling drunk pirates to sleep
"Ace, you are very far right now" Luffy hesitantly said
Ace snapped his head towards his brother
The emperor and his first mate listened quietly
