A path with rocks, and hurdles, and mistakes,
A time of growth, and trials, and strife,
A chance to learn and to see life in a different light.
For growth, that comes with maturity,
It's a chance to see the world more clearly,
To understand that there's beauty and pain,
And to find our place within the spectrum of life,
It's a chance to stand tall, and be proud,
To know our worth, and be fearless,
To take on the world, with a calm resolve,
And be the person that we always wished to be.
But let's not be fooled by the illusion of maturity,
For it's not about becoming a perfect person,
It's about acknowledging our journey,
And learning to love ourselves for whom we are,
So let's embrace maturity, for it's a journey,
That we must take, with patience, and grace,
For it's in maturity, we truly find,
The peace, and the love, and the strength of our space.
