I woke up the next morning and rushed to Robert's room. I asked the doctor if I can go in and without waiting for a reply, I barged into his room.

He was lying there, sleeping. I sighed and sat down on the chair next to his bed. He started stirring and eventually peeked one eye open. Upon seeing me sitting there, he immediately sat up.

"Luna Skyler," he greeted, nodding his head.

I smiled, "Just call me Sky."

A flash of sadness appeared in his eyes but he quickly covered it.

"What happened to you?"

He sighed, " I was waiting for my fox to come back from outside. I heard a scratching noise and went outside to see, but there was no one there. The next thing I know, the house was on fire. I don't know how, but I heard my mom screaming from the kitchen. I tried to save her but a piece of wood from the roof collapsed on her. I made it out and ran. I looked everywhere but I didn't see Sky anywhere, so I ran towards Alpha Austin's territory."

All along, I thought I was the only one alive. He had thought the same. Should I tell him now?

Give him some time Snow said

"Can I go outside?" Robert asked.

I looked at him, "Will you be able to walk?"

He lifted the covers and put his weight on his foot. He nodded.

I helped him up and called the pack doctor in. After he had checked him up and gave him crutches, I led him outside.

We talked for a while, walking around the pack grounds. I saw Austin in the distance, playing with the little kids and waved at him. He smiled and jogged over.

"Hey man, how are you?"

"Great! I don't know any of your werewolf medicine but damn these things heal fast."

"Well, it's great to see you up and about. I'll leave you guys-."

Before, he could finish his sentence, a little girl with fiery red hair and green eyes came barreling into Austin.

"Oof! Sorry Alpha!"

Aw... she's so cute...

Austin smiled and picked her up. "It's fine Lana. This is my mate, Sky, and my friend, Robert."

The little girl, Lana, looked over and squealed when she saw me. She squirmed in Austin's arms and once he let her down, she stood in front of me.

"Hello Luna! Hello Robby!" She chirped.

I laughed and picked her up. "Hello Lana, just call me Sky."

Her smile widened if that's even possible. She turned to Robert and poked his cheeks.

He gently swatted her hands away. "How old are you Lana?"

"I am four!" She says holding up three fingers.

We laughed and set her down as her mom called.

"I got to go. Bye Luna, Alpha, and Robby!" She yelled as she ran up to her mom. "Did you see that mommy? I was hanging out with the Alpha and Luna!"

Her mom smiled and waved at us in thanks as she led her daughter away.

We continued our walk around the pack house. It was until Robert started talking about me that we sat down on a patch of grass.

"She has a shiny red coat with blue eyes, the most unique fox I've ever seen. She would sit next to me while I eat and steal some food." He laughed as a tear slid down his cheek.

I can feel my own eyes filling with tears. I smiled as he continued talking. As afternoon came around, we got up and went towards the pack house to get some lunch.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"Oh no, I can make it myself," He says getting up.

"Nope you sit your ass down and I make the food, capeesh?"

"Okok I just thought-"

"Ah! Zip it and sit down."

Without another word, he sat down and I grabbed a bagel and popped it into the toaster. I opened the  fridge and grabbed the cream cheese. After the bagel popped up, I slathered it in a layer of cream cheese and handed it to Robert.

Halfway through his bagel, Austin walked into the kitchen covered in mud. I shoved my fist into my mouth to stifle my laughter.

"Bro... what happened to you?"

He sighed and shook his head. "Kids."

We burst out laughing as Austin went up to clean up, leaving trails of muddy footprints behind.

Several minutes later, Austin walked down the stairs, ruffling his hair. He came up to me and placed a kiss on my forehead before grabbing a bagel himself and sat down across from Robert.

"You know you are welcome to stay however long you want. You are like a brother to me," Austin said.

"Really? That would be great, thanks so much!"

I smiled, "I'll let you guys talk."

I walked out the door and headed towards the forest. I quickly stripped and imagined my dragon. My bones cracked and shifted into place. I can hear a rippling as scales replace my skin. My mouth elongated to a snout and finally the sharp snap as my wings appear on my back.

I shook out my wings and without another glance, I took off into the sky with a great flap of my wings. I can hear Scarlet growling in content in my mind. I flew across the treetops, my wings brushing the leaves.

I flapped my wings faster as I flew higher into the sky. I leveled out until I'm flying in the clouds. The orange glow of the sun can be seen as it sets behind the mountain in the distance.

Everything was silent, not the peaceful kind of silence. I looked up to see a flock of birds flying towards me. I dove down towards the treetops.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge spear came out of nowhere and lodged itself into my side. I roared in pain and crashed into the trees. A burning sensation coursed through me as I struggled to stand bak up. I groaned and looked around. My eyes stopped on a hooded figure standing a few feet away.

Without a word, the person raised his or her hands and a huge metal net was thrown over me. With a flick of his or her fingers, electricity ran through the net, shocking me.

I growled and roared in pain. Who the hell is this lunatic?

Austin! Hel-

I got cut off when the hooded figure jabbed a syringe into my neck. I growled and lunged forward. The person stepped back and spoke in some weird language. More hooded figures stepped out of the trees, holding a metal thing.

I glared at them and shot a fireball at them. They dodged it and came forward. Another group threw ropes around my neck and tugged on either side so I can't move my neck. The first group roughly fitted the metal thing around my mouth. Oh, so it's a muzzle. How the fuck did they even manage to make that?

I can't even open my mouth with that muzzle on me. Black dots swam in my vision. I tried moving my tail and feet but they were also tied down.

Austin, help!

And with that I collapsed onto the ground with a thump and I faded into darkness.
