I can see the stars
In the glittering night sky
As I'm laying down in a bed of green
I wonder if you can too
In a parallel universe
Over the other side of the horizon
I saw a shooting star
It came cascading down upon the glimmering surface
Like a bright scintilla
And I sang a little lullaby
Mixed with the rhythm of the waterbodies beside me
The stars seemed to die into the night
Along with me
I wonder if you were here
Would you believe in me
And hold my hand?
Are you watching the stars tonight too?
And singing a low hymn from miles afar
Our wounds are bleeding in the luminous light
We are slowly exhaling life
And dying young as the most beautiful flowers
In a garden of thorns
All I want is you to believe
And our melodies will mingle into one
That our hearts will beat onto
The dusted glitters in a pool of navy
Will bleed their colors
And be painted with a hue of our affinity
