AISHAH

IT WAS MONDAY and I despise Monday a lot

Why?

Because I have classes throughout the day and there's no time to rest and I have to breath in people's breathe which I'm not comfortable with

I looked at the lecturer and his potbelly in his agbada which he frequently raises up and adjust,I just wish he round up whatever he is doing because the heat in this class is inconducive

I almost doze off different times"and we came to the end of the day"I heard the lecturer say and my dozing eyes opened immediately

He took his stuff and left the class,soon enough the students started leaving the class making incoherent words which I'm not paying attention to,I just want to be out of the class as soon as possible

Finally I was outside but I silently cursed,the sun was shining at it's peak burning my face and my black abaya wasn't helping at all because it was absorbing the heat

I mentally slapped my self for not taking my shades,I forgot my shades at home and now my face have to surfer the consequences

I raised my handout to cover my face as I walk briskly looking for a shade

Suddenly I heard my name

"Aishah!"

"Aishah"

I halted my steps turning around and I saw it was one of my course mate named Batul

"I have been calling you since"Batul said breathing heavily like she ran a marathon race

"I'm sorry,I didn't hear you"I continue walking and she followed me looking for a shade and happily we found a tree and luckily there was a rock underneath,so we sit on it

"What's it?"I asked her

"Ha Aishah!"she gave me a wary look and I rolled my eyes"I asked you to help me go through my Biostatistics"she said

"Oh! I forgot"I said remembering I promised to help her with her Biostatistics problem

"Should we go somewhere quiet or we should go to my room in the hostel?"she asked and I felt bad immediately,I had something to do and I hate to turn people down

"Can't we do it tomorrow?"I asked her in a pleading manner but she was quiet and I decided to continue"I have something very important to do"

"Ok if you say so but please make sure you make time for me tomorrow,we are having the man's test soon"Batul said pleading

"Don't worry, Insha Allah I will make time for you"I said and she beamed

"Thank you so much,may Almighty Allah bless you"she said standing up

"Ameen"I replied and she left

I heaved stretching out my legs and wiggling my toes to ease the tension between them when I heard my name again

"Aishah,you are here?"My best friend Fareedah asked
