I CAME BACK to the house with groceries from the store,I placed everything in the kitchen when my phone suddenly rings
"Baby what's up?"Fareedah asked and I chuckled
"So so fine,God! I missed you"I said and she laughed
"Why won't you miss me when you're not here to get me ready for my wedding,I only dream of you being my bestlady on my wedding day but here you're with your tummy growing big"she joked and I laughed
"Of course here I am with my tummy growing big,ain't you happy for me?"I teased and she sighed
"Why won't I be when you will be giving me a godchild soon"she said and I smiled
"So how's the wedding preparations going?"I asked leaving the kitchen
"The wedding preparations is going fine my dear,my mom have decided to take everything in her head,she wants an extravagant wedding"Fareedah said sighing and I know how tired she might be now,her mom was an extravagant woman and loves everything classy
"You just have to let her have her way"I said smiling
"What can I do,I can't actually stop her from doing the things she likes"
"You hit a point there"I said and she laughed
"Enough about me how's you and your co-wife?"she asked and I sighed
"We are fine,just minding our business actually"
"I can imagine dear"Fareedah said and I chuckled
"How's Rauf?"I asked
"He's fine and he's the only one getting the bubbling and jittery of the wedding like he is a goddamn female,I thought I was the one that supposed to be getting all that"She said and I bursted out laughing so hard that I have to calm myself down first
"We all know Rauf is an emotional man and he is in love what do you expect"
"I can see,babe I will talk with you later I have to go"
"Ok dear bye"I said and the call came to an end
My phone started ringing immediately the call came to an end and it was my sister,I wondered why she was calling and picked the call immediately
"Salam"I greeted and she chuckled
"I just gave birth"she said and I was shocked
"It's a lie"I shouted out of joy and she chuckled tiredly
"I think you better run over here to see your nephew,mother is so happy to have a grandson she said she's on her way here"Qadirah said and I laughed heartedly
"Ya Salam you gave birth to a boy, congratulations dear how are you holding up?"I asked bubbling in happiness
"I'm so fine and expect you to be here soon"she said sternly and I laughed again
