The Dragon King

I plunder cities and take what
I want I take from the poor and needy
I have a thirst for power and greed
Watch what you say and watch the sky
Because I have a penchant to make you bleed
The color of a deep dark crimson
On the brick steps of my dragon court

For I say
I am the Dragon King
Winged and ready to fly
I am the Dragon King
Filled with a dark void
And a stone cold heart
Ready to devour, ready to die
I am the dragon

I am the Dragon King
I am the Ancient One
Mercy, peace and justice
Have no place in my kingdom
I reap what you sow
And destroy the innocent
Leaving scattered pieces
In my valley of death
Love, kindness and compassion
Virtues outlawed in my kingdom
As I spread fear and hate
You beg for your death
You will remember me
As the Dragon King -
The Ancient of Days.
