War is the art of death
All the mothers and children
The innocent ones are affected
The blood of a thousand dead corpses
Stain the streets of the fading city
The streets were once
A joyous place to walk and talk
With family and friends
That is all but a memory
Fading with the ticking
Of the Eternal Father Time
Tick, tock. Bang, bang.
Dead, man, bleeding.
Bleed out with
The memories of the past.
Dying. Now.
