Jayden POV
It has been months since I've been with Klaus and things couldn't be better, he tells me the truth about everything,
And I enjoy all the stories he tells me, I enjoy him teaching me about each species, I enjoy him teaching me how to protect myself,
And most importantly I enjoy my freedom from my controlling sister,
I was leaning against the car, when Klaus got a phone call,
"Portland is fantastic, once you get over all the whiny music and healthy looking people it is literally a breeding ground of werewolves," Klaus said
Klaus paused
"What did you just say to me?" He said sounding angry,
I looked at Klaus worried
He nodded telling me he was alright,
"Well first I want you to explain to me exactly what happened," Klaus said
"I wanna see him I want to see his rotting body for myself," Klaus said angry
"If you are lying to me Stefan your compulsion will expose you so answer with your life is what you are saying the truth? and don't worry Jayden is perfectly fine in my hands," Klaus said
"I want to talk to Rebekah," Klaus said
"Rebekah love what's this I hear about Mikael's tragic run in with the dagger?" Klaus said
"I'll be home soon," Klaus said he hung up,
"Looks like were going back little bird," He said
"Klaus i'm not ready to face them yet," I said looking at him
"I understand little bird that's why I took the liberty of securing a place in Mystic Falls where no vampire can enter without your permission, I'll drop you off and meet you there later is that okay?" He asked as he moved some hair out of my face,
I nodded
Later we arrived In Mystic Falls,
"I'll meet you here soon Little Bird I also have two of my Hybrid guarding you just in case," He said kissing my forehead,
"Thank you," I said
He nodded
I got out of the car and walked in as soon as I walked in he drove off,
The place was run down and a little creepy but it's better than facing everyone who lied to my face about everything,
Including Aunt Jenna's death and Uncle John's
It had been hours since Klaus dropped me off that is when there was a knock on the door,
I slowly opened it, it was Klaus I guess that he can't even get in,
"Come in," I said chuckling,
He chuckled,
"I hope so," He said
"So what happened?" I asked following after him,
"Stefan stole my family, I intend on getting them back," He said with a grimace,
"I'm sorry Klaus," He looked confused
"That he took something you care deeply about," I said looking at him with sad eyes,
"It's not your fault little bird, I will get them back, what really bothers me, is how much these people hurt you," He said
"It's something I'm used to," I said smiling at him,
"With a light like you, you shouldn't be accustomed to that," He said
"Come on I set up a bedroom for you, its late," He said
