Chapter 8: His cage

"I said leave me, Adrian!"

"I hate you and you can't chang-" My words were stopped when he pushed me against the door with his body towering over mine. His one hand pinned my hands above my head while the other rested on my waist when I looked into his eyes.

"Do you feel it?" He asked as my eyes slowly opened and my breath hitched as I saw his eyes full of emotions.

"What?" I whispered before I felt his hand bringing my hand closer to his chest and placed it right on top of his heart. My eyes widened when I looked into his eyes as a small smile appeared on his lips which I saw for the first time.

"It's beating very fast."
